Anniversary cruise with our kids and grandchildren. Great itinerary for them and good size ship for family. They have been on larger ships and loved this size ship. Much more manageable than the larger ones. My husband and I have been on 24 other sailings on a many cruise lines. For us, we prefer small ships but this was great for the children ages two 11, one 12, and one 13. LARGE ...

We chose this cruise for the ports of call and had a lovely time! Our highlight on the ship was our wonderful cabin, a Jr suite cabin 1042....very spacious, walk in closet, tub/shower large bathroom, large sitting area. Our cabin attendant was excellent. We were very pleased with the quality of food. Bring binoculars with you on this trip, the ship sails very close to many islands and shore all ...

The cruise was a total let down, we booked this cruise to celebrate 37 yrs of marriage and rci were informed but done nothing, the safe in our room was broken and not repaired until our last evening on board, also we were told so much wrong information which was awful and we were lied to about a drinks package, and were sold the package under false information. We always used RCI up until now ...

We chose this cruise because of the ports. Santorini and Mykonos were very high on our bucket list! We spent the night in Rome and transferred to the port by private car arranged though the tour operator we were joining after the cruise. We arrived at the port at 11AM and traded our embarkation group # for a much lower # (#5) since we had priority boarding. We were on board by 1145 and sat ...

My husband and I chose this cruise as one of our "bucket list" items - mostly for the destination and itineraries. We had both seen Rome before, but with students tagging along, so wanted a cruise that departed Rome, giving us time on the ground either before or after. We came in three days ahead of time, plenty of time to savor and experience the city. It is quite easy to negotiate on your own if ...

We chose this cruise with Royal Caribbean based on the destinations. Royal Caribbean has always provided a comfortable relaxing experience for us and we were not disappointed. Embarkation and debarkation on this trip both were above average experiences. The room staff was excellent. The wait staff in the Chops Grill was excellent. I cannot say the same for the other specialty venues. We chose not ...

Fantastic ports but ship needs to be retired

We chose this cruise because of the Rome departure and the ports and we were not disappointed with Italy or Greece. We totally fell in love with the Eternal City and had over-the-top tours in Athens (Acropolis), Katakolon (Olympia), Mykonos (Delos) and Santorini. However, the ship was a major disappointment. One pool for 2500 passengers! Another indoor pool, called the Solarium, supposedly ...

We had a wonderful week onboard the Jewel.....a much smaller ship than we usually sail, but the ports of call were amazing! We found the crew very friendly, especially Romina, the Diamond concierge, who went above and beyond to make our trip amazing! We had several top tier receptions this week. Embarkation was very easy and disembarkation went smoothly as well. Would highly recommend booking a ...

As this was not my first Royal Caribbean cruise I knew I was in for a treat. . .the food was great every day; breakfast, lunch and dinner; always a variety as well. They cater to all Nationalities; which I applaud. Never saw one unhappy customer whild dining. And the wait staff was great. We chose this particular cruise because of the number of ports and the chosen ports. The other Cruise Lines ...

Chosen because of Itinerary. We have cruised exclusively with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the past several years and have reached Diamond Crown and Anchor level which provides some nice perks: luxury bathrobes, access to Diamond lounge, free drinks during Happy Hour. We always try to book our next cruise while on board to achieve additional on board credit. The Jewel was recently ...
