Fantastic 7 days Caribbean Cruise!!!

We chose this cruise because of the opportunity to visit 5 islands, in port from 8-5 each day and the variety of excursions offered at each port. Royal does a great job with entertainment and activities and the food is delish. Their ships are clean and the staff are always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. From the moment we stepped on the ship we felt comfortable with the staff and ...

New Year's Eve Cruise with family!

It was a family cruise, with my husband, daughter, spouse and their 3 kids(9, 12, 14), to celebrate the New Year. The ship is beautiful, luxurious, cabins (9228 and 9230) are big, with a sofa that converts into a double bed, and one pull down bed. The balconies do not open to communicate. Bring your own shampoo, conditionner and shower gel if it is important for you : there is a dispensor of some ...

We've sailed Carnival and Disney before, but this was our first trip with Royal Caribbean. To be honest, I was somewhat disappointed. While our port itinerary and island experiences were fantastic, I was less than impressed with some aspects of our cruise. My main complaint, which I wanted to warn others about, was our cabin #7587. It's an inside cabin located above the casino. Our room was ...

My husband and I booked this New Year's Eve cruise for my 40th birthday. This was our first cruise. I booked with Royal because my parents have gone with them many times and are always happy with their trips. The ship was beautiful, very clean and in excellent condition. The crew was constantly cleaning and were constantly seen cleaning railings and disinfecting which is so important ...

This cruise overall was very nice. My dad paid for the entire family to go (thanks dad!) We took along our almost 2 year old. All attendants from all areas were very attentive to his needs. Our lead waitress was awesome at getting our son his dinner almost immediately when we sat down, which was great. The cabin steward was also fantastic and went above and beyond. Food- overall- was OK, not quite ...

The ship has a fabulous itinerary the islands are fantastic! We had my time dining and had Katherine as our server and she was so fantastic we booked the table for the remainder of the cruise. The food is good but some nights it's average- nothing to write home about. However Katherine made up for it. The cabin was supposed to be a quad however it was more of a double or triple wouldn't ...

San Juan is still pretty devastated. We stayed one day before and 2 days after. That being said the big hotels have all services and the port is in fine working order. Embarkation was seamless, debarkation slower but without problem. Jewel OTS is in my opinion in great shape for an older ship. We like this class and tend to sail on it the most. We had a group of six, 4 very recent cruisers and 2 ...

Wouldn't be surprised if this is a training ship

I have been on 8 other RC (Royal Caribbean ships) and this one I would rate the lowest. I would not be surprised if this is a training ship. We sail on the Holiday Cruise for Christmas and it was not up to what you come to expect for RC. The entertainment was subpar. The shows had singers who could barley hold a note and dancers with poor choreography. The comedians JR McCollom and James Stephens ...

Our family was busy eleswhere so we decided to take a Christmas Cruise. The cruise went very smoothly. In San Juan, the transfer from the airport are currently included. One snag was receiving our luggage. We baorded very early (around noon) but our luggage still had not arrived at 6:30. We had dinner reservation at Chops at 7:00. :( Our cabin was two from the front on our floor. I went lookig for ...
