My husband and I are in our early and mid thirties and we travel often, however this was our first and probably our last cruise for a very long time. We chose this cruise based on the ports of call which were fabulous with the exception being Trinidad.
Entertainment: The average age on this cruise was around 80 years old and we found the entertainment was geared towards this age group. The ...
We chose this cruise because of the dates and itinerary. Husband turned 70 and we wanted to celebrate.
First time on this ship and we liked it. The new medallions work well so did the WiFi. We had some free minutes being Platimum but they seemed to evaporate.
Our cabin was on deck 15 forward, this was a new position for us but we liked it. The bed was really comfortable. The balcony was ...
This cruise had the best entertainment of any previous Princess cruise. It would be hard to improve upon it. The food however, even in the "upscale" restaurants was poor. Something very wrong has occurred with the food selection and preparation on this ship. The safety drill was not adequate as life jackets were no longer required to be carried to the Muster Stations. Too many people were not ...
The positives.
The dining room food was excellent as was the Marketplace buffet.
The BBQ at the rear does need some reorganization as the lines for the wok cooking are long.
The medallion worked well around the ship.
The shows in the theater were excellent
The negatives.
The piazza is too small for any entertainment as are someof the bars around. The sky walker bar at the back of ...
This was a 14 day circle the Caribbean voyage, not a back to back cruise. However, upon returning to Port Everglades, we switched over to the Regal Princess for an additional week's cruise. (this was our 3rd cruise on the Caribbean Princess this year)
One of the reasons for picking this cruise is that we had never been to Martinique and had been to Trinidad only once about 8 years ago...and ...
Embarkation was organized and fast. The medallion is great. It was good and easy to use. No more searching for the room key or getting to the door with your hands full and fumbling to get your key to unlock the door. The state rooms were ready earlier than most cruise lines so we were able to relax before the mandatory drill. All the muster stations were inside with seating for nearly all the ...
We chose this particular line again, due to the service, care, comfort, food, entertainment. The dining rooms are very elegant as well as the specialty dining rooms, which I highly recommend. After all, it is a vacation!! The entertainment is wonderful. Our traveling partners took their grandchild and they took advantage of the discovery center for kids. He loved it and insisted on going ...
First time on Princess. Have sailed Celebrity,Paul Gaughan, Carnival, Royal Caribbean,Norwegian, Always have a good time on any cruise. The ship itself is showing wear with rust and flooring tears. The cleanliness of the ship was good and the staff was friendly and accomodating. The shows were O.K., I guess if you could get in to see them. Not enough seating and people lining up at 8: P.M. for an ...
The itinerary of this cruise was very good. Two stops I would omit would be Martinique and Trinidad. They were too "big" city for me. When I go to an island I like to experience an island, not a big commercial area.
The food on this cruise was terrible. Also, the coffee is made with a "syrup" not coffee grounds and it was not good. There were several complaints among passengers about this ...
This was our first time on a Princess cruise and we won’t be rushing back! Travelled from the UK and wish we’d had a better experience to take away with us.
The quality and choice of food was very mixed. The best meal we had was at the Crown Grill but obviously we had to pay a supplement. The food and service in the Island Restaurant was again mixed, on some evenings the service was incredibly ...
