We arrived at the cruise terminal at noon and it took 2 hours to get on the boat. The line to check in was very long but we were all in a good mood. We had the ultimate beverage package and every drink that we ordered other than specialty coffee and bottled water was included. We picked up bottled water on the way to the ship and had no trouble bringing it aboard.
Our room was 5096. ...
We just got back from sailing on the Spirit. We left out of Port Canaveral, however I felt that this was port was not organized. casino was a little small but the ventilation system was horrible. I am not a smoker and normally I would not complain about it but it was Horrible. The ship was nice looking but you could see that it is in need of major updating. we had room 11037 and 11051. They ...
Overall the cruise was up to par. The ship is a smaller more intimate. Service in The Windows restaurant was below average. Most meals were delivered slow and warm not hot and some were delivered cold. We switched to The Gardens and were more satisfied with both the service and quality of the food. We tried the Shogun Asian restaurant and enjoyed that.
The first day at sea there was no on board ...
We had cruised previously on the Norwegian Sun and were very pleased with the meals, staff drinks and ship. The Norwegian Spirit let us down in all areas with the exception of the entertainment. 19 cruises under our belt. We realized this is their oldest ship with recent minimal updates. The dining room 1hr wait after being seated to get a so/so meal. They only offer water, you you'd like ...

Staff- Gio was a personable and fun CD- although he still was not as great as Joel from the Getaway! :) Fernando at Future Cruisers was excellent and extremely helpful. Nino our server in the dining room and at the Beirgarten was fabulous! George at the Champagne ...
My family and I were very much looking forward to this Caribbean cruise. We had been to Mexico and Alaska before and had very positive experiences. We were not prepared for what we experienced on the Spirit, however.
This is the oldest ship in the NCL fleet, and, despite a retrofit in 2014, I think the bathrooms got missed. Our cabin bathroom was not as bad-looking as some of the photos we ...
I am a very forgiving person but this cruise was hard to forgive. We knew going in that this is the oldest boat in the fleet so I expected some problems, our shower door did not open easily but maintenance fixed that, although we did not call it in, I think the cruisers on the cruise before us did. That's kinda sad it took them that long to fix it. A few loose tiles and the room next to ours ...
We were on our first ever cruise and we were not dissapointed! We travelled from North Yorkshire in England to Orlando, stayed in Timeshare at legacy vacation club (which we would highly recommend and is available for non timeshare owners too) for a week. We joined the cruise at Port Canavaral which was easy to find and had some amenities/restaurants nearby in case you arrive early. The Spirit ...
We found the ship very charming. The service from staff across all departments on the ship was very good!
Food was good in the specialty restaurants (we went to 3 of them). Windows restaurant was very very good, good food, good service, excellent variety of menu and totally not crowded. We did not go into the Garden restaurant, but saw and were told that there were long lines, waits and ...
This was my 10th cruise, but my first with Norwegian and my first bad experience. Breakfast and dinner in the main dining room took 2-2 1/2 hours every day. Items would arrive cold or sometimes not at all. The food was only so-so. Every dinner had broccoli. Ala mode meant a little dollop of whipped cream and the chocolate lava cake was nowhere as good as Carnival's. We never saw our cabin steward ...
