One and Done for us

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We did not have a say in selecting this cruise. Our daughterinlaw set it up as a family group cruise. We were generally "satisfied" but I'll elaborate. Our last two cruises were on Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Carnival finishes a poor third behind NCL in first place and Royal in second. Food OK, very good in the main dining room. Layout of buffet confusing and chopped up. Norwegian a ...

Close to home for my Birthday Cruise~~~ My fight was delayed so I boarded with no one in front of me, no line, I'll be late more often :) The ship is showing it's age, especially the atrium, dark, dull & dingy is what I think it is...needs to be painted a light color and needs new lighting too it's just so blah no one seemed to be spending any time in there at all...bar is boring...please ...

I went with my family of 4 and 9 other friends. It was my first Carnival cruise and my wife's second. I hadn't heard great things about Carnival. I heard it called the Motel 6 of cruising. My expectations weren't high for the cruise. Well I was pleasantly surprised. From day one of the cruise the service was outstanding! I have been on 3 other cruise lines and must say that Carnival Miracle ...

I spent my 50th Birthday on board Carnival Miracle and had a beautiful cruise. My room Steward was a complete Gentleman, zipping gowns, tying bows, and keeping my stateroom tidy and pleasant. My Late Dining Assigned Seating was wonderful every meal, from Service to Cuisine. The Shore Excursion Desk rearranged my entire itinerary based on a few questions I had. This team scored a Home Run ...

This was supposed to be a fun Spring Break trip for my family but it was the worst vacation we have ever taken! Both myself and my husband got food poisoning from food we ate on the ship! We returned home dehydrated and very sick! This was the first and last Carnival cruise we have been on! We cruised with Norwegian three times and Disney once. We were not impressed with the Miracle. The ship ...

Great value, great time!

When thinking about this cruise, my mom and I were a little bit apprehensive about going on Carnival during Spring Break. But, we easily justified it using these two reasons. 1. We survived Carnival Breeze over Christmas with 1,500 kids. 2. Spring Break seems to stretch weeks upon weeks so it was unlikely the entire USA would be off during the week we selected. As it turns out, we had ...

I have to say Carnival Miracle was a good experience, however, there were so many things that my husband and I did not expect, we are not sure if we would book a cruise again. The day of travel leaving from Long Beach California my husband and I had traveled a long way, and so wanted to have a little snooze. As soon as we laid down we heard a plethora of running foots steps obviously from a ...

Arrived at LAX about 3 hours before embarkation. Driver was at Baggage Claim and trip to the Port was much quicker than I had planned, about 30 minutes, not the hour I had planned flights around. Faster to The Fun was a great purchase, our own dedicated line to process in and obtain our Sign and Sail Cards. They could have had better signage to differentiate FTTF from Suites and High Level VIFP ...

Good cruise, some highs, some lows, but decent value

Just wanted a short getaway without having to fly. Long Beach is about 40 minutes from us by car and very convenient. Parking's not cheap at $19 a day, however, and we ended up on the roof of the parking structure. Check in was quick and efficient. We had lunch on board and did some exploring, got our bags about four hours later. Cabin was on Deck 8, pretty roomy with lots of ...

We've cruised Carnival and other lines before so this wasn't our first rodeo but it was the first time cruising with our 11 month old. Unfortunately the experience of mediocre at best making me not want to cruise Carnival anymore. Felt discriminated against before and after the cruise! Details below: Embarkation: The head luggage handler was rudely delivering a message telling cruisers that ...
