Unusual Cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Miracle

The embarkation was actually painless...quick and easy. Of course it was head for the lido until our room was ready. Still can not understand why Carnival Corp. can not have a buffet set up in the dining room as well, on embarkation day. Would make sense and get the people in and out! Our room was ready on time and luggage arrived in a timely manner. Carnival still does not understand that ...

Had a wonderful trip board the Miracle. Left Long Beach CA Aug. 26th, returned Sept. 2nd. We enjoyed our 2 days in Cabo San Lucas very much. Our ship was diverted from our 2nd port, Puerto Vallarta, due to a tropical storm. The schedule was rearranged, a 2nd port was scheduled, and we continued on without a hitch. The entire crew was welcoming and gracious from the first day to the last. Dinner ...

First time Mexican Riviera cruise. Two cabins, one balcony and the other interior. Empress deck. Since we are platinum we had priority boarding and straight to cabins. Needless to say cabins were immaculate, bathroom spacious. Steward introduced himself immediately and from then on first name basis. He was excellent. Dining staff were excellent...Rudolph, Roxanne and Alben went out of their ...

Fun in the Sun – the VERY HOT SUN!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – life is an adventure. And sometimes, in order to fully enjoy it, you just have to go where the adventure takes you. That is especially true with cruising; wherever that boat goes, it takes you. Choose to enjoy all the little “firsts” that cruising has to offer. But since this was our 16th time cruising the Mexican Riviera, I really had little hope ...

Really enjoyable cruise

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms and boat were immaculate. Initially you notice it is an older ship and then you do not even notice as everywhere is very comfortable. The food in the Lido area is varied at lunchtimes but the breakfast is the same in each area with the addition of a continental selection. We definitely decided to eat dinner in the Bacchus each evening as ...

A Value Driven Cruise!

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We chose this cruise for an annual Commodore's Cruise with our yacht club. 65 members and plenty of fun. Easy transportation to Long Beach Harbor for embarkation since we all reside within an hour commute. The Carnival Cruise Ships are all about value! 3,000 passenger cruises are affordable but you pay a price for crowds and and less quality! Our stateroom was Cabin 4180. Unobstructed, ...

Chose this cruise because we had a discount through AmEx and it was fairly close to where we live. Was able to make it from north county san diego to port in less than one hour. Parked at terminal it was about 20 dollars a day. Paid a porter 5 bucks to take our bags while we parked. Garage has very low ceilings watch out. Paid for the faster to fun and go on ship right away with no delays. Once ...

Great Service Oriented Crew on a Old Worn Out Ship

For those of us in the west wanting to cruise in summer and not go to Alaska, Carnival is only line with the Mexican Riviera option. We prefer Princess but they have nothing to offer during summer months off west coast other than Alaska. We were very impressed with service we received from our cabin steward Jeannette, Head Waiter Virgil and his team and when we had issues with onboard Premium ...

Me, my wife, and my two adult daughters ages 22 and 25 had a great time. Getting on and off the ship was always easy. Our two cabins 5150 and 5152 were plenty large enough and the attendant did a great job preparing our rooms. The only concern is that my room 5152 could have used little better air conditioner. It didn't cool down as much as we would have liked. We were at table 200 for all of the ...

Not the Best of Our Cruises

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We had friends that had never been on a cruise and this was a "trial run" for them. Otherwise we never had planned to do a Mexican "Riviera" cruise. The first night there was a problem getting food. The waiter kept apologizing for being so slow with but then we had almost a one-hour wait for the entree. It was moderately warm by that time. We did complain to the Head Waiter (Anil) and the hostess ...
