Miracle to Hawaii

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We wanted to visit Hawaii without a long flight over to the islands. This was a 15 day "Journeys" cruise out of Long Beach California. There were 4 sea days before the islands as well as 4 after. We enjoyed all the special activities that Carnival had planned for those sea days. There were dance lessons, including hula, island crafts classes, seminars, cooking demonstrations & too much more to ...

We and three other couples choose this trip because we like a lot of sea days, wanted to see Hawaii again without the grueling flight, and considered it a great value. We flew in from Pittsburgh on a direct flight to LAX a day early - somewhat surprised how many others on this flight were also on this cruise. We stayed at the Queen Mary, which was fun, historic, and very close (walking distance.). ...

My husband and I have taken many cruises on Carnival, the ship its self was what we excepted, but the trip over and back from Long beach was not what we excepted. It was cold and windy couldn't be on our balcony without a jacket, give me the Caribbean. The entertainment was great but days at sea and no sun was tuff. The food was nothing to write home about except the Pizza and Sushi. Sushi was ...

Excellent! Went to Mexican Riviera on Miracle with my adult daughters and had a fantastic time. Love all the activities. The comedy club comedians were great as were the shows, loved the 80's themed show and activities on Thursday. Keeping connected with each other on the Carnival Hub app as well as the features of the app, such as the ship map, daily itinerary and dinner menus, port ...

the price and date was right for us. Faster To The Fun was a great option and we were lucky to get it. The best cooked salmon and lobster I have had on any cruise! Loved the cold fruit soups and vegetarian curries. Just wish they had creme caramel or more creme brulee! I ordered low sodium meals and I would get the menu the day before each day, to order my meals. I was very ...

Fun Family Cruise

Overall we had a good family vacation. The good: We had the late dinner, food was delicious. All of Edsel’s (waiter) recommendations were a hit. The sea day brunch was not the best, the service was slow and blah. We were much happier with the Lido breakfast. Lunch at Lido was real good, great selection. Our 7 year old really enjoyed the kids club, he came back with so much to tell of all the ...

Went on cruise with a group of 6 girl friends. Had been several years since cruising with carnival. Missed the entertainment variety. Enjoyed the comics but would have enjoyed more variety. Food always looked good but lacked flavor. It seamed everyone was nice and helpful but little extra effort was made to make the trip special. Even the specialty Steak house was a disappointment. ...

9 Year Later Same Ship

Nine years ago was my very first cruise was on the Miracle when it sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale. I actually preferred the Miracle ship compared to the Dream that I was on last. However, after being on it twice and it rolling back and forth I have to say the larger Dream was much more stable in the water. Things have changed for Carnival cruises. If you are a 20 something looking to party ...

Carnival has improved in some areas through out the years but in many other cost cutting moves has dropped in presenting the ideal cruise experience. Shows are now cut to 30 minutes. Tablecloths are non existent except for "formal" nights. Do you like a cup of coffee after dinner? Unless you wanted to pay for a specialty coffee It's not going to happen. No more free taste bar but add a for ...
