We thought we would try carnival after two years using other cruiselines. This was the third time we cruised with carnival.
I was really disappointed with the food. The breakfasts were all the same In every line the food was lacking flavor every morning was the same thing for 7 days. We decided to go to the dining room after checking the menu. Again disappointment they were not serving what was ...
I did not know what to expect after hearing good and bad on Carnival. So, I did what I always do, I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. I will make a few recommendations first. Get your cruise booked months in advance. Book your parking (if driving)in advance. Read the reviews on the tours, in advance. Get your passport squared away. There are some cruise ticket holders for sale on line, ...
We were disappointed in the WiFi options on Carnival Cruises. Even Economy Hotels provide WiFi in their business center that allows travelers to check email, check for changes in flights and check in for return airline flights. Carnival should provide free or economical basic service. This should at least be made available on Carnival's computers, or in limited areas in the ship. Music and movie ...
Our cruise began with a 3 hour delay in leaving the port. They said they were loading supplies as was the apparent reason the Miracle left late on the repositioning cruise. Overall, it is a very nice ship with a great crew!
Restaurants: The Lido was crowded and the food was typical Lido food - which is fine. Chopsticks was good but when it was 2:30 they couldn't wait to close - pulling the ...
Ships Appearance: The ship was designed in a theme that portrays angels, vines, and many partially clad paintings. This was perfectly fine with us, but may be problematic for those with young kids. The ship appeared in good repair, except when it rained, we discovered multiple leaks in ceiling throughout the ship. The leaks were very minor, and not problematic. Balcony Stateroom: Our room was a ...
This was my 5th cruise, second on Carnival. It's been 9 years since we last cruised. While the Miracle was in lovely shape and we enjoyed several things about our trip, we were pretty disappointed in several things as well.
The staff was not as accommodating as we have experienced on previous cruises. The bar tenders were too busy, it took a long time to get a drink and most of them were ...
SERVICE AND STAFF - Mayura and Gede were great cabin stewards. Any request was immediately taken care of, and our cabin was always neat and clean. Once a day cleaning was during our dinner seating and completely effective. Thanks a million to our cabin team!! We had laundry done twice on the cruise and it was clean and carefully folded when returned by our stewards, We even got a nice note ...
Embarkation was a breeze, however our ship left the port 4 hours late! We weren't really told why except we could see that all the food was still being loaded, hours after our scheduled departure time. Disembarkation was awful, we stood in line for an hour. Twice our Seas ended up being quite rough, One night we endured 106 mph winds and 20 foot seas. Captain Luca and his Crew on the Bridge was ...
14-Panama Canal Journeys Cruise
Room 7192, port side extended balcony, 8A
Overall Rating of The Cruise 5 out of 5
Embarkation: Another wonderful Southern California day. Traffic at port was light. We arrived early as did many of the 187 Diamond and 887 Platinum guests (52% of the passengers). Carnival was prepared by setting up additional VIP check in stations outside the normal ...
This was a repositioning of the Miracle to its new home port of Tampa Fl. Carnival put the average age of passengers to be 67 and there were less than 20 passengers under 21. Since Carnival knew the age of their passengers they should of been better prepared.
The cruise started by leaving Long Beach hours late due to loading the ship. This set the ship arriving and leaving most ports late. ...
