We choose this cruise for two reasons, we thought after covid a cruise around the Uk would be the safest and also it went to many destinations we have never been too. As a wheelchair user I was not expecting to leave the ship unless we were moored at port ( just three) but no the expedition team got me on every Zodiac and landing to places like Iona , Tresco to name but a few . They were ...

Wanted to see Norway and the Midnight Sun so chose this trip. Being honest the ship is a little tired but to be fair we were given a credit to reflect this. Stayed in the lowest level of suite which proved to be a good choice as the lower grade cabins did look a little small. Only comment on the suite was, although there was good wardrobe space, there were no hooks to hang outdoor wear on ...

This expedition cruise appealed to us as it was informal, the pricing was clear and the ship visited a wide range of locations, many never visited by other cruises. In addition there was the option to be as active and adventurous as you liked; kayaking, zodiac cruises, science activities, art and crafts, hiking and just being a tourist were all on offer. Three very good meals a day with ...

We, 2 senior citizens, chose this cruise primarily because of the itinerary, i.e. visits to Rathlin Island, Iona, St. Kilda and the Isles of Scilly, amongst others. We had to wear masks on board in most enclosed areas, but these were provided free of charge. The MS Maud is a fairly small ship, so it was very easy to learn the layout and get around the ship. This was our first Hurtigruten ...

We chose this to visit some of the remote island on the west side of the Uk. We had great weather which is not always the case. I was not impressed with the motorised dinghies for going ashore which were quite uncomfortable particularly when the sea was choppy. However we visited some brilliant place. Rathlin island and St Kilda were the best. The ship is small and there were only 400 ...

As our first cruise experience, we liked the idea of an Expedition Cruise on a small ship with lots of activities and special interests ie nature & photography. Norway has been on our wish list for some time and the trip was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic so we were especially excited when we learnt it was now going ahead. It did not disappoint! We boarded the ship in Dover which was a bit ...

We had done a fantastic Norwegian Coastal Cruise/ Northern Lights with Hurtigruten 5 years ago. We so admired the focus on science, shore experiences and excellent food. The British Isles cruise offered even more off-boat excursions and the varied talents of the expedition guides made for a lifetime of memories. The offerings gave very active guests plenty of stimulation while also offering ...

An expedition, not a cruise, with many scientific experts on board to help, talk and lecture, with their own areas of expertise. Particularly good if you were interested in bird and sea wildlife and the geology of our country / islands. We were travelling to some remot'ish islands and taking into account all safety issues they managed to get us to land at all the destinations. All bar about ...

This was just what I wanted and so much more. I chose this cruise as I had heard such good reviews from friends, family and then Boom radio UK mentioned it too. It surpassed my wildest dreams. On board there was lectures, science projects, talks, and art. Off the ship we were offered, snow shoe hikes, rib rides, dog sledding, cross country skiing, guided walks, bus trips and a polar swim!! The ...
