We have been sailing with Regent for close to 20 years. It appears Regent is in a slow decline and is becoming more like its bigger ships in the Norwegian cruise company.
This last cruise is the first time I noticed food was being reheated from previous days. Normally their leek tart is fresh and creamy with a flakey crust. On several occasions the tart was clearly reheated and the crust ...
This was a memorial cruise following the deaths of both of our parents. I went with my sister, brother and his wife. We paid $40,000 for the two cabins on the Regent SS Voyager for the trip from Barcelona to Lisbon. June 25 to July 2, 2023. It was not the top quality we had paid for. It was quite disappointing
1. Lack of communications and zero organization regarding flight check ins and ...
We boarded Voyager in Barcelona (Tarragona) on 25 June and continued through to Southampton on 17 July. For us it was a wonderful cruise, our third on Regent and second on Voyager, though we also sail on Seabourn and enjoy river cruising on Scenic. The crew were fantastic as always on Regent and the food was some of the best we have had. We like Voyager and think she is in great shape. ...
Great 10 night cruise through the Med.
Pros : Food is excellent, specially the compass rose.
Service is where regent excels, just outstanding.
Great excursions
Bar and beverage options are really good, high quality and plentiful.
Ships clientele is really interesting
Small ship, so entertainment is pretty limited but ...
This is our second cruise with Regent, our first was on the Explorer and was a wonderful experience.
Compared to the Explorer, the Voyager is somewhat shabby and is in need of an upgrade.
The food was generally fine but not as excellent as I remember the food on the Explorer being. There are also fewer dining options.
The Wi-Fi was glitchy, but perhaps that's to be expected on ...
This is our second cruise with Regent, we embarked in Istanbul and went (are still going) around the Eastern Mediterranean.
The butler and steward are fantastic they always have a smile and are super helpful, nothing we have asked for is too much work for them.
The food was mostly ok, not wow but ok, we did have one bad meal - lunch at the compass rose, the burger was undercooked, potatoes ...
After many cruises with the old Crystal Cruises, we were looking for a new luxury cruise line. Several people recommended Regent Seven Seas to us. We already were planning to be in Europe, so picked this cruise. I will start by saying that the dining staff and room attendants were very good. Friendly, attentive, thoughtful service. Our cabin was larger than what Crystal had, a real plus. ...
We chose Regent as it promised a level of service that we had come to expect having previously sailed a few times with Seabourn. We were disappointed, however, as Regent failed to match Seabourn on a number of areas.
1. The ‘free Wi-Fi’ was hopeless. We had barely any coverage in our suite and it was torturously slow when we could get it. Only one device could be used at any one time so it ...
WORST PARTS - Incredible cabin noise and vibration ( first cabin ), poor service at guest reception, unusable wifi, mid cruise balcony revarnishing ( 2nd cabin )
BEST PARTS - great crew, good excursions, good food, friendly passengers, nice personal touches
This was our first cruise and after a lot of research, we opted for Regent - mainly for the food and the ports we could ...
Took our first Regent cruise (a TA, lots of sea days), earlier this month. Just returned this past week. It was a 14-day cruise. Overall, it was very good. Embarkation was less chaotic than most, but still chaotic. We were advised prior to our cruise that the original embarkation time we had been given had been pushed back by an hour and a half because the Coast Guard had to inspect the ship. No ...
