Baltic itinerary is terrific. All ports were enlightening and pleasant experiences. Ship was okay, but worn. Heard going to dry dock soon for refurbish. Balcony Cabin furnishings ready to replace. Roomy but worn. Food in main dining room was fair at best. Few inspiring options, few fish seafood options. some quality so bad it was inedible (strip steak). Specialty restaurants not special, like ...
Everything went as planned - from take in (10 minutes) to a nice inside cabin on deck 9 - a great location to get to everywhere on the ship. Food was excellent, including our dinners at the three specialty restaurants- Giovanni's Table (Italian), Chops (Steaks), and Izumi (Japanese). Service throughout the cruise was very good.
St. Petersburg was worth the whole trip to see. Arranged a ...
I'm not really sure why this ship doesn't have better reviews. Just returned from this cruise yesterday (we spent 2 additional days in Stockholm after the cruise) and really enjoyed ourselves. My wife and I (in our early 60's) began the cruise on July 23 and it ended on July 30. Yes, I can see some of the "age" of the ship, but that did not prohibit us from enjoying the cruise. This ship goes ...
The cruise was amaizing. We enjoyed the entertainment staff, shows, food and most of the ports of call.
St, Petersburg was amaizing. We spent two days and also took the opportunity for a night tour to see the beatifull city at night anf the opened bridges.
Tallin, Stockholm and Riga are also beatifull, but we found Helsonki as disappointment.
We loved the ship althogh is it not one og the ...
First, the on-line service team instructed me ( a few days before sail) to check in at a specific time (5 hours before departure) which is never mentioned from the beginning; when I inquire about this arrangement, they answered this is just "every other cruise line does". This is very inconsiderate as not every passenger living in the set-off port or nearby, this kind of arrangement should be ...
We were both looking forward to this cruise as we had never been to the Baltic countries but our experience on board the ship and subsequent dealings with Royal Caribbean " Executive Office" has left us very negative about the attitude of RC to customer issues.
Our concerns began when it took 4 weeks for RC to answer a question about transport from the ship at the end of the cruise to the ...
We've always wanted to go to the Scandinavian countries. We have had great success on Royal Caribbean cruise line before. We were especially pleased with the service on board. All crew members were extremely polite and more than willing to help out. They often went above expectations in fulfilling our needs. The dining staff became familiar with our taste in foods and made excellent ...
My family and I recently travelled on the Seranade of the seas a mid size crusie ship which can hold 2500 guests over 13 floors.. The ship had something for everyone we all needed a vacation and this experience did not disappoint. It was our first cruise experience and we anticipate experiencing many more. From the moment we stepped on the ship to the point of return the staff looked after all our ...
We chose this cruise because of its itinerary, and we were not disappointed by the ports of call. It's our third cruise with RC . We were on Brilliance last year and this ship is virtually identical which helped with settling in- the colony club is the safari club and the Pacifica theatre is the tropical theatre. The year before we were on Splendour, which was sold to Thomsons. So small ship ...
The Baltic Sea is a wonderful cruising area -- so many fascinating ports. We stayed in Stockholm, Sweden for a few days both at the beginning and the end of the cruise. Embarkation was smooth and fast. In Helsinki, we took the "Free Time at Three Sites" excursion, which was pretty bare bones. It was exactly what it claimed to be -- bus transportation to three different locations -- no further ...
