Our son and his wife selected the dates/location/&cruise line to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. They had never been on a cruise OR to the Caribbean! This ship is VERY old! Carnival advertises that it was renovated in 2017, but we only saw cosmetic renos. My husband and I were on this ship 16 years ago, and unfortunately not much has changed. We opted for an Aft-Balcony Cabin – EXTREMELY disappointed in the limited view thru the glass panels – we were told they were stained and could not be cleaned, however using a napkin & water we removed dirt in a small area ourselves! The ports were lovely, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the comedians were great! Negatives: Premium Internet was a joke – we cancelled half way thru the cruise to hopefully get a refund. Our cabin steward was not the usual happy and welcoming; thank goodness our son and his wife had a great steward who even knew our names!!! Don't waste your time on Faster to the Fun - we've done this several times, however this time the man at the terminal wouldn't allow us on when priority was called, said we weren't in that seating area - there wasn't room when we arrived and we were directed, along with a bunch of others to a location a little further down. We had all our documentation, tags, ID, etc., but he refused to let any of us on! Then the rooms weren't ready as promised. Just a waste of $$ and Carnival doesn't care!! I think the best part of the cruise while on board was our great waiter, Armon (a.k.a. Tiger) in the Golden Restaurant. We’ve been on 12+ cruises and he was the best we’ve ever had!!! Read Less

First time sailing on The Glory. We had a balcony cabin on Lido deck. So convienient. near all of the food LOL. The ship took about 2 days to get used to the layout. The staff was wonderful and each and everyone of them were friendly and attentive. Embarkation was smooth. My brother needed wheelchair assistance and they were accomodating. my son lost his backpack with his boarding pass, passport and other documents in it right before we went into the port building. (someone had mistakenly put it on a luggage rack with other luggage to board) . The Miami port staff took the time to look through hundreds of luggage and retrieve his bag (it helped that he had a picture of it on his phone). Me and my brother were able to board the ship pretty quickly and the rest of our party joined us shortly. We were there a few hours early and we stil were able to board. Disembarkation went smoother than it usually does. the line was mooving quickly. The food was good although i didnt think the selections were as many as other cruises. The entertainment was good. love the lip Sync battle (my daughter was a contestant) but wish they would bring back ship talent shows. Next cruise will definitely be with carnival Read Less

Let me start by saying that it was my husband and I first experience on a cruise ship. However although it was our first we had very high expectations since we have been to exquisite hotels before and have received excellent customer service. Therefore we looked forward to being pampered the same way with the cruise. We want to commend those who have exhibited what true customer service really is employees such as Rosi,Alexsandra,Komang and Ivana. They have displayed passion and sincerity in their jobs. Regrettably to the end we had an extremely bitter experience which wiped out some of our memorable moments. Since my husband is in the hospitality industry and I am a well established person in customer service we were very disappointed with the mistreatment and humiliation we went through to the end of our trip. The least place you will expect poor customer service is Guest services however that was the case for us. After finally being attended to from a long wait in the line I kindly asked a guest service representative for tags for our luggages. She told me that they did not have and that I can check a particular place located two floors up to get them. I went up to the place as she said and waited a little while before being attended to only to get the response that they did not have any. I quietly went back to Guest services but there was a long queue so I find it was very unfair to me to rejoin the line since it could have been avoided by the guest service representative calling first to find out if the place had.The same representative was attending to a guest at the moment so I quietly stood on the side until she was finished with that person then I went over to tell her the situation. However some persons thought I cut the line and started to quarrel about it. I tried to explain that I was in the line before and at the same time I thought she will also explain to them I was there before but instead she agreed with the other guests and told me I need to join the line again and they do not have anymore tags. Now anybody will totally agree that this was horrible customer service and the guest was extremely embarrassed. My husband who was not with me at the time was very upset when I told him and went back to tell her Manager/supervisor who offered to give us a free drink which he bluntly refused. Can anything compensate for that painful experience? However the same Manager/ supervisor was able to get tags for our luggages after the representative said there wasn't anymore. We also had a similar experience with that same guest service representative prior to this incident. We took the WiFi plan however since it was not working we went back to her and made a complaint. She just told us that sometimes its like that but when we really find it was ridiculous that we paid for a plan and we were unable to use it we went back to Guest services. This time the customer service representative was another person and she gladly reimbursed us. This left us wondering why that former representative didn't do that in the first place when we complained about it. Another bad experience was in the Platinum restaurant. We waited a very long long time before being served and what made our experience even worst was the server made a rude comment when we said certain things based on our observations. When guests make constructive criticism and especially in a polite manner we know that the employee will apologise and try to make the experience better going forward. However his demeanor was quite the contrary and we felt that this matter could have handled better. Additionally we felt certain items and excursions were overly priced and need to be revised by the cruise line. As a result of these unfortunate happenings we will most likely not be returning to Carnival cruise lines in the near future although we deeply wanted to be loyal customers. As it stands for now we will bypass them and try other options. Read Less

Fifth cruise and 3rd cruise line. Second cruise on Carnival. We took our kids on their first cruise on Carnival Victory last year. Despite what we had negatively heard about Carnival, the cruise on Victory was above our expectations on all fronts. So my wife and I booked a 7-day for this Summer on Glory. Never again on Glory, and possibly never again with Carnival. The good - easy and fast embarkation, common areas of ship in pretty good shape for age, ALL staff we encountered practiced great customer service, excursions were all top-notch The Bad Food: Guy’s Burgers, Mexican, Deli, and Pizza all good, but limited availability for Burgers and Mexican - long lines for the other two. Buffet just not very good at all (and I’m not picky). Room: AC never got cold, we never kept covers on the bed and were still hot at night. Nearly everyone we spoke with had the same issue. Plus, rooms were so dated. Victory last year had renovated, and they were nice. These looked like 1982. Entertainment: Very poor. Comedians had a laugh or two in 30-minute shows. Theater shows were tragic. Again, Victory had a band in the orchestra pit, only tracks played on this. We left both early because we were bouncing in our seats laughing at how bad it was, and didn’t want to be disruptive. Overheard two performers at lunch one day discussing how they hate being on the ship and wondering how they can get out of their contracts. Finally, Fellow Passengers: Many we encountered were very nice and we got to know quite a few. We also understand with 3,000 people, you’re gonna find a jerk or two. But, the level of rudeness and disrespect from more passengers than we were comfortable with made for a not great time. We apologized to two separate tour guides on land for other people’s remarks regarding poverty in their countries. The level of ignorance these passengers displayed was embarrassing to us as fellow Americans. We had several experiences with passengers on board being mean to us or each other as well. Kids and adults ran down our hall late at night yelling and slamming doors...every night! Overall, we had fun because we are positive and fun people, but won’t step foot on Glory again. We may book with Carnival again on a newer ship that maybe is more expensive to weed out the riff-raff, but seriously doubting that right now. Read Less

I expected tons of kids since we are in the summer months- I guess they all went to camp. The staff was so pleasant and our room steward went out of her way to help make sure certain things were always in the room for my daughter who has a medical condition. The staff in the dining room- magnificent! Awesome ship and iteniary i would definitely recommend the Glory and the Western Caribbean schedule my family of 6 really enjoyed our vacation. We ate at every food stop except the Ol Country Buffet those hours should be extended especially on a port day. The Steakhouse as always didn’t disappoint and the Sushi at Sea....best ever!!! The dining room food seems to have been stepped up a notch this trip to my happy surprise! I would do it all over again! Read Less

Ok, let's start with the elephant in the room. Yes, this ship is older and worn. I can only imagine what goes into maintenance, every day we saw people washing, repairing, painting...but we were comfortable, entertained, well-fed. Not going to complain about the wear and tear of Glory. Embarkation was a smooth and speedy process. I can only hope that the people in charge in Miami teach the people in charge in Long Beach, which has a torturous embarkation process. The lines kept moving, and we only sat in the waiting area for less than 10 minutes before boarding. Debarkation was similarly smooth, though took longer. The trip itself: wonderful! Yes, there are lines sometimes, and crowds and chair hogs. You have to expect that when cruising. The lines were never horrible. The ports we visited were beautiful! The only excursion we booked through Carnival was the Jolly Roger Catamaran Sailing & Snorkeling with lunch. That was a fantastic experience! The waters were choppy, so they took us around to the north side of Roatan, and rather than fight the winds to sail back to port they put us on small buses. The result is that we got a nice scenic drive around the island, almost like a bonus tour! I would easily recommend that excursion. Our cabin was 8393, on Verandah deck which is right below Lido. There were rumbling noises overhead each night, but nothing troublesome. We slept well, and very much enjoyed our balcony. Our cabin steward was Suardika, he was very nice and took great care of us. The food was good, occasionally great. The entertainment was the same. The comedians were good, but one of the 18+ shows was so crowded that people were jammed into every square inch of floor space, more standing than sitting, and people just kept coming in. And there were plenty of obviously underage teens in the show, no one seemed to be checking or paying attention to who and how many came in. It was really uncomfortable for us, we ended up leaving due to the claustrophobia. Our younger teen enjoyed the teen club, spent more time there than in his room. He raved about Jesse, who supervised the room. Our older teen is 18 now, and was really bummed there was no hangout for the 18-20 set, but he made do and had a good time as well. This was our 5th cruise, all of them with Carnival. We will absolutely cruise again, likely with Carnival. Yes, there are pushy/greedy/rude people, just as there is pretty much anywhere. We immensely enjoyed the people watching, part of the fun :) As with any travel experience, cruising is what you make of it. Have a laugh at the bumps that occur. Engage with the people around you, including the staff and crew, rather than being rude or standoffish. Make the most of whatever happens, and enjoy the experience. I'd give this a solid 4.5 stars, if I could give fractions. I rounded up, after discussing it with my family, as it was such a good trip. Read Less

We went on a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Glory in June 2018. Embarkation was easy, we had Faster to the Fun and it made the whole process smooth and efficient. We had two balcony rooms for our family. The rooms were nice, not anything spectacular but we were not in the rooms often. The ship is newly refurbished and beautiful. The pool is pretty small but the lido deck is spacious. There are plenty of chairs to enjoy during the sea days. We loved all of the ports; Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas, and Amber Cove. We booked our excursions through Carnival and loved all of them. The only disappoint for us was the food. The food wasn't bad or good, it was just pretty bland and average, especially at the buffet. The burrito bar and burger place had the best food on the ship. The dining room was also a little disappointing, the food was pretty boring. The best meal we had was at the steakhouse, so definitely make a reservation. Service was good and everyone was very helpful. Overall, we had a lot of fun at the ports and the ship was nice but things could have been better. Read Less

Attended a wedding on the ship, before the ship departed Port Canaveral. Weddings on a ship can be great, for those staying afterwards and cruising. For those not traveling, it can be a long and tedious day. Parking, security, passports, birth certificates, arriving 3 hours early, delay getting off, etc. Not great for elderly or sick. Wedding food was great, cake was wonderful. Wedding participants had the challenge of bringing their dresses, gowns, shoes, travel things, etc. on the ship, before the luggage arrived. Stayed in a spa interior cabin. Basic room with 2 small beds. Provided us with spa robes (awesome) to use and spa slippers to keep. The Spa is usually my favorite spot on the ship. Services provided (massage and others) were sub par. Would not waste my money again on any treatments including stone massages, seaweed wrap and body slimming treatments, pedicures. The food was delicious throughout the ship. Especially enjoy sea day breakfast/brunch in the dining area. Special attention and the caramel cheesecake was the best dessert I'd had on the ship! Desserts on the Lido deck always seem to have no flavor, very gelatin-like. Their presentation is spectacular, but flavorless. Some of the multi-layered cakes were beautiful and so tempting, but did not fulfill the expectation. Evening dining was elegant, but seemed like we had to rush to get to shows. Would prefer "my time dining" next cruise. Final evening, the singing of staff and servers always makes me smile, and shed a tear for the idea the trip is over. Found Guy's BBQ place the last afternoon on the ship. Be aware, it is kind of "hidden away" and only open for a couple of hours in the middle of the day with are very long lines. Heard it was good BBQ, just never got to try any. The Indian food served at the back of the ship during lunch was probably some of the best on the ship. So many flavors, textures and variety. Naan bread was crispy yet soft and warm. Delish... Of course, the entire ship staff was wonderful. Couldn't tell you what the cruise director/entertainment director even looked like. Never saw him. Could hear him, but he was VERY DIFFICULT to understand. Did not speak clearly and used a lot of slang. Older folks in our group had difficulty sorting out what he was saying. Room Steward was great, room kept clean, ship was spotless. Of course, the cute animal towels were a treat. They used to give you chocolate mints on your pillows at night, those are gone. Looks like the kids were having a blast at the outdoor activities. I loved the shows in the theater. Lots of talent and great entertainment. The variety was good. Excursions were very expensive. Also, be aware, that even though you book something pre-cruise on line, and select a time, THE TIME CAN CHANGE. Happened to me. They moved my champagne sailing catamaran trip got moved to 2:00 p.m. It was a 4 hour tour, and we had to be back on the ship by 5:30 p.m. I cancelled, because it was too expensive to be cut short. The Port in Belize was terrible (especially compared to the newer ones). Actually not pleasant because you had to take a tender over to land and the seas could get rough. Then, if you don't have an excursion, DO NOT BOTHER with the port. Enjoy having the entire ship to yourselves. Entertainment was great in the theater...the string band in the main lobby was good, but after 4 or 5 nights of the same style music, it was enough. Lounge bands were o.k. Shop workers in the mall area were not very pleasant. Took FOREVER for someone to announce the winning raffle numbers. They spent too much time talking about upcoming sales, deals, excursions, etc. prior to pulling the numbers. Frustrating, as it seemed like it was just promoting sales. Sometimes we had to wait up to 20 minutes before finally someone would pull the number. Employees on board are hard working and polite. Wish I could speak every one of their languages so I can learn more about them. Overall, a great time. Would cruise this ship again. Read Less

We live near the port of Miam, and we decided to do a family cruise so price was important. The ship is old and looks it. It’s not taken care of. We saw ants in the buffet dining room our cabin smelled like sewage the first day. We asked the steward to see why he could do about it, it seemed like he just cleaned it because by the middle of the trip it smelled like sewage again. The cruise director Dustin was fantastic really energetic and entertaining. The pizza is delicious!! The food in the buffet and dining room is sub par, has no flavor, the eggs were always over cooked. The avocado was way too ripe and the fruit was wilted. The Dr Suess breakfast was really nice for the kids. I ordered the steak and eggs, the sauce was solid instead of liquid we it was brought to our table. On Tuesday morning we did sit down in the dining room for breakfast instead of doing the buffet and we were there for almost 2 hours. We waited for 30 minutes before we were approached to have coffee ordered. The tables around us were not cleared. People who were seated after us had their orders taken before us and had their food before we were served coffee. Something was going on because what looked like 2 managers showed up and finally we had our orders taken but it still took an inordinate amount of time to get our food. We traveled with kids and they’d enjoyed Camp Ocean. It looked clean and the staff was great. The Grand Turk port and Amber Cove port don’t look authentic, it’s basically created to look like an extension of the ships shops, very disappointed. We have done Disney and Royal Caribbean cruises in the past and those far better experiences. I would not do a Carnival Cruise again. Read Less

We had two rooms (6338 and 6342) next to each other. Room steward and cleaning staff were very friendly and attentive. Dining was fantastic. We tried Guys Burgers, Blue Iguana Cantina, Sushi, Seafood Shack, and Golden Restaurant (Your time dining room). All were excellent and service was on point. We requested Pande every night for dinner, she was the best! There are tons of activities onboard. This was my sons first time at Camp Carnival and he really enjoyed it. Margaritaville in Grand Turk was so much fun. We had a great time in Puerto Rico walking around and exploring the city. St. Thomas was beautiful, but be aware you will need to pay for everything when visiting a beach (lounge chairs, umbrellas, etc...) We visited the resort pool in Amber Cove which was very fun. Waiters came to our lounge chairs to take our food and drink orders which was convenient. Overall we had a fantastic trip and will definitely book another cruise with Carnival. Read Less

We chose this cruise because it fit in with the general locations we wanted to go to, along with the only week we could get everyone to agree on and be available for. We've cruise before, but never on a Carnival ship, and honestly we were a little worried. We're not sticks in the mud, and we were also traveling with three kids, ages ranging from 19-23, so we weren't concerned with the "Fun/Party Ship" reputation the Carnival has. However, as we mentioned to people what line we were cruising on, we did get quite a few funny looks, with one friend actually saying "not sure how YOU are going to handle Carnival"... Made for a little bit of anxiety. Honestly, your cruise is what you make of it, so we had a fantastic time. We're not into the pool antics on any line, so we just didn't hang out in the main pool area (unless we chose to hang out with a drink and take it in, which actually made for some fun people watching). The ship itself was great... My husband and I were on one of the of the ship, and our kids ended up on the complete opposite end, which worked out fine...Same floor, just different ends. Our cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable, as was our kids' cabin at the beginning of the cruise... Only ventured down there once, so I can't comment on how it was at the end of the cruise. My only complaint was that their cabin did smell a little musty, but they didn't have a problem with it... Keeping in mind that they are used to dorm rooms at college, so let's just say we're happy they were in that cabin and not us. The crew was fantastic and everyone was wonderfully friendly. Our cabin steward, Ruby, was a sweetheart, as were our three Main Dining Room Servers (Antonio, Rowell and Agnes). I enjoy greeting and talking to everyone on the ship as I pass by, and the crew was always right in step with a "good morning", "enjoy your day", etc. Our kids all enjoyed the entertainment, and went to quite a few of the shows. My husband and I only made it to one of the comedy shows, and it was pretty good. We all enjoyed the casino just about every night, and our 19 year old son even won $100 from the crane machine the first night, on his first try... Of course we probably all spent that and more trying to duplicate his win, but we had fun trying. We ate in the dining room every night and enjoyed what we had. Portions on some items were a bit skimpy, but considering you could order another one if you chose to, it really didn't matter. Again, as I mentioned above, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we enjoyed our experience. The ports were all fantastic, as were the excursions we chose... Note, we did not book any excursions through Carnival. In the Caymans we did a two stop snorkeling trip starting with Stingray City through Captain Marvin, and had a fantastic time. In Mahogany Bay we went to Little French Key (not to be confused with Big French Key) and it was superb... Hoping to return there on another trip. In Belize we did Cave Tubing through CaveTubing.bz and it was also fantastic with amazing Guides! And finally in Cozumel we went to Mr. Sanchos' All Inclusive, and it was another amazing day spent having a great time. You can read my reviews on each on TripAdvisor. As for taking another Carnival Cruise, yes we probably would. Again, your cruise experience is what you make of it. If you choose to find fault with everything around you, you will find fault no matter what cruise line/ship you sail on. Enjoy the experience and go with the flow, and you'll have a great time. Note: Re the fire and loss of power on the ship the first day at sea. We've read a number of people saying how horrible it was and how scary.... It... was... a... non... issue. Most passengers wouldn't have known anything was even going on if the Captain hadn't made the announcement, and if the power hadn't gone out. We were never in danger, we were never at risk. The worst that might have happened with the passengers was possibly having to take the life boats ashore to Cuba... Again, another adventure... It's all in how you look at it. Now, I do understand that a crew member was injured (and was ok), and that's a different story as I don't want to make light of that... However from the passengers perspective, again, it was a non issue. We continued with our plans and walked on the track then went to brunch... The entire incident was over in about 45 minutes, with lights back on in about 30. Great cruise overall!!! Read Less

This was our second cruise, but our first with our teenager. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. We flew into Miami a day early in order to avoid any delays and to explore the area. I highly recommend doing this if at all possible. The hotel provided a stay and sail package that included shuttle service to/from the hotel and the port. Embarkation was a breeze, much easier than our first cruise, the line was short and the staff was friendly and helpful. We checked our luggage with a porter, went through the check in process and were up on the Lido deck for lunch in no time at all. The ship was fantastic!! Our cabin was clean and well kept. Our cabin stewardess Monthana, was kind and helpful. The rest of the staff we encountered were great as well. We have no complaints about the service we received. Our son went to the teen club every day and enjoyed every moment of it. He made some new friends and even got to celebrate his birthday with some of them. The only problem we had with Club O2 is its proximity to some of the smoking areas. (casino and bars). The meals were delicious!! Our dining room server Julius and his helpers remembered our names and entertained us with jokes and tricks each evening. The buffets were tasty as well. Our son loved the burgers, as well as the 24 hour pizza and ice cream. My husband and I didn't attend any shows, but we did enjoy spending time on the decks and around the pools. The Serenity Spa area is wonderful for quiet time. We went on three excursions and were not disappointed. The day at Mahogony Bay was a beach day for us and it didn't disappoint. We have only been home a few days, but we are already planning more cruises. We would go on the Glory again!! Read Less

Our room was spacious and clean and there was always something fun going on. We bought the cheers package and it was totally worth the money. The servers in the restaurant were excellent and were always available with recommendations and fun stories. The cruise director was unbelievable - always high energy and would stop at nothing to make sure everyone was having a good time. Ports: Grand Turk - beautiful but beach is mostly Coral rock so you can't really swim. We ended up at the massive pool at Margaritaville. San Juan - This Port was my favorite. You must see the fort El Morro - the views from the fort are breath taking. St Thomas - We did an excursion at this Port with snorkeling and an open bar. The rum punch did not disappoint and we saw a sea turtle while snorkeling. Amber Cove - We did the waterfall excursion here and booked through Amber Cove Adventures and I recommend doing that over booking through the cruise ship. Our guides were very knowledgeable and gave us rum punch and bananas on the ride back to Port. Read Less

Everyone on the cruise is always so friendly and I liked the fact there was a mix of all ages and you could dress up if u wanted too or you could also go abit more casual, everyone we spoke to were loving the cruise. Dismembarkion was abit chaotic but I don’t think there is any easy way of getting everyone off with three bags! Getting on was smooth and easy! We had a balcony room and it was very spacious and a big comfy bed. I want to reassure u that unless your proper fussy and are up for a good time then you will love this cruise. Hope this helps!! This was our first cruise and we will be going back!!!!! Everything was the best! Our cabin was clean and well maintained. The ship was very clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating! Dining! Oh the food was great! So many choices! Our waiter and staff (Mr. C and Krise) greeted us every night by name and talked with us about their lives! Samuel in the casino bar was another great friend! Drinks were not watered down like some people told us and the majority of the liquor was top shelf! Entertainment was very good! Dustin was our cruise director and he kept us entertained and laughing! We did 2 shore excursions and those were fun as well. The cruise was not much more expensive than renting a home on the beach. If you like cocktails and beer, you should buy the booze package. It's well worth the money! Read Less

This was my first cruise, as well as my husbands. We originally chose Carnival because we had heard nothing but wonderful things, from those we know that have been before! As soon as we stepped on the boat it became a totally new adventure for us! Something we had yet to learn that we LOVED so much! This cruise was everything I had imagined, plus so much more! From the neat little gift shops and booths they have, to the awesome shows, to the beautiful ports, the amazing food, the great pictures, but most of all, the amazing people you meet along the way! Absolutely everything about this cruise was amazing! My favorite part, besides the ports, was the customer service provided while on board. Every corner you turn, the employees are working hard, yet greeting you with the biggest smile on their face. I literally do not think one employee walked passed me throughout my whole experience, without greeting me without the biggest smile! To top off the amazing customer service that you received on any part of the ship, our room attendant, Yosefine, made my experience one to remember! The connection and interest this woman shows for you, is amazing. She actually took her time to get to know us, where we were from, what excursions we had booked, and even followed up with us each day about how our day was! Any time she saw us on that ship, I had to stop and talk to her about our day and hers! Her customer service is well above exceptional! It is the best! She deserves a few extra days off and a raise!!! I hope this goes up the chain to her boss so he knows what an amazing person he has working for him!!! Yosefine, if you see this, THANK YOU for such an amazing time and being so caring and open to my husband and myself! You are amazing and very much appreciated! -Craig and Kaley Read Less

We had a bad experience with boarding as we were not given a zone card when we arrived so by the time we finally realized we needed one (previous cruises we were not assigned a check in time). We were some of the last ones to board despite having an 11:00 am check in. We had my time dining and on the 3rd night found a team that we really liked and stuck with them the rest of the cruise. The main dining room food was very good. Although, the buffet was just ok. My husband and I were disappointed that the only way to access the sports deck was by using the stairs. We had both injured our knees and there were no elevators. Entertainment was good and we went to the shows and listened to music in various places in the evening. Room service was great and usually arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. All in all it was a very good cruise just disappointed we were unable to use the recreational areas and Serenity deck due to the lack of elevators. Read Less

My sister and I took my Mom and her girlfriend to the Western Caribbean for a week of fun! We flew into Miami for this cruise and stayed at a nearby hotel. It was super easy to get to the port and we had no issues checking in our baggage. Embarkation was a tad late because the ship had arrived late, but everyone just sat and visited and met new people. Everyone was in a great mood! Debarkation was as smooth as silk. There was not a single issue. The ship was clean and full of activities for us. We played some trivia, we danced many evenings, we had a blast gambling in the casino and we enjoyed grabbing some drinks and just enjoying the pool and the hot tubs. I gave the service a lower rating because we had to ask for clean towels and wash cloths several times throughout our trip. I also gave the entertainment a lower rating because there were no live musical shows in the theater. That's one of our favorite things to do. We all love the dancers and the singing on all of our other cruises. It's a highlight. Instead, games were being played at night with the audience. All of us would have rather seen music shows. The comedy club was very good and we loved the comics that came aboard. Our room was just perfect. My sister and I shared an inside room and it was plenty big. She had lots of space for her C-Pap machine and we had lots of closets and drawers to place all of our things. Except for having to ask for washcloths and towels, the service for our cabin was good. Service overall, on the Glory, was just terrific. Everyone was kind, helpful, friendly and they actually took the time to make sure we were having fun. The dining on this ship was phenomenal. There wasn't a single bad food choice that we tried. From beef to chicken to seafood...to breads and desserts...it was all tasty and fresh. I've been on quite a few cruises and the dining on this one was the best. Our excursions were organized and entertaining. All four of us learned things, experienced culture and met fantastic people. One of our excursions got cancelled and our account was immediately credited and we spent the day walking around the city and went back to lunch and play on the ship. It was fun to be one of the few people on the ship! We had access to everything without lots of people! We did not travel with children this time. This was just a "chick trip". I would definitely go on this ship with this itinerary again. Read Less

I bought the pixels max before boarding It made my cruise so much more... I hope and cross my fingers they bring it back I enjoyed getting all my photo's The joy a photo brings to a face is priceless The team that took photo's was the best and we enjoyed them all The are very helpful The dinner room team wow they was great... When I cruise again I hope to see these folks again I enjoyed my cruise, and if they bring the pixels max package back I'll cruise again I'm a picture person but 20.00 each on the cruise is way to much to be able to enjoy them Though the picture staff says they will not have it back I so hope they do Read Less

This was our 2nd time on the Glory and 3 time at these stops. But this was one of the best if not the best cruise we have had on Carnival (7 Carnival Cruises). Spent the night before in Miami at Holiday Inn, right across from Bayside Market Place, nice hotel, great location. Boarding the ship was the fastest we had ever had. Checking time was 12, got there about 11:45 and walked right on to the ship. Rooms were not ready until 1:30pm. Went to spa and worked out, nice fitness center. Room was a balcony 1057. Our steward was Bagus...just awesome man. Always polite and friendly. Spent most of the time on ship reading on Serenity Deck, then in afternoon would head to adult only pool on Aft. Met some very nice people there, our server Bene was always attentive. Filled our bucket up with ice when it would melt without asking. Everyone on the ship was polite and friendly, the kind of services we expect from Carnival. We did have a bad experience last year with a bartender on the Sunshine but nothing this year. Totally awesome. Ports, we knew what to expect. Grand Cayman, did bar hopping and beach break. Would never do that again. Enjoyed the brewery but not the rest of the tour. Next time will just get a cab and head to the beach. Royal Palms beach Resort was nice there. Mahogany Bay, just enjoyed the beach right off the ship. Belize, just tendered in and stay around the shopping area, had lunch and some drinks. Cozumel, did Passion Isle, which would have been great if we would have had more time on the beach. Our guides were the best, Raphael and Miguel. Would defiantly do that again if the boat ride was shorter and the stay was longer. Getting off ship was easy, always a wait at Customs but no big deal. Definitely will be taking a cruise again next year, either 8 days of Sunshine or the Dream out of NOLA. Never had gone out of NOLA and advice? Read Less

This was our first Carnival Player's Club Premier Cruise with promotions in the casino, although it was our 40th cruise. We had priority embarkation and it was so smooth and pleasant. We ate in the main dining room on most nights and the food was good. Love the Guy's Burger on the Lido deck. The Red Sail buffet on deck 9 was ok. We only ate there for breakfast, and a lot of the time the food was lukewarm. We really enjoy the Seaday Brunch and look forward to them when we cruise on Carnival. The Playlist Production shows were entertaining. I went to one of the late night comedy shows and did not think the comedian was that good, I have been to much funnier shows. The movies on the pool deck were recent releases and it's always fun to watch a movie under the stars. We were just so disappointed in the cabin location, I felt I needed to write this review. Carnival Glory Cruise Director and Entertainment were terrible!!!! Have been on several cruises - this was a big disappointment. Cruise acted like a Mama’s Constantine referring to his Mother pretending to receive calls from her while on stage. Not funny!!! Drove it into ground. The entertainers were great dancers but terrible singers. At our evening dinner table we all agreed that this was the worst entertainment we had experienced on any of our cruises. The disembarking process was a total disaster - changed the rules constantly. No one knew what was going on or where you were suppose to be. Food was very good. Servers were great being very polite. Our room was very nice and well maintained. Enjoyed the ports. If Cruise Director and entertainiers were replaced this would have been a great cruise. Could only tolerate so much of the Cruise Durectirs Mama’s bit routine and the terrible singing of the entertainers. It was like they were hollering instead of singing. Read Less

Everything with carnival cruise was perfect and smooth from the start of getting on. It was really easy to check in and the ship was very well kept. My cabin was just enough space for both me and my boyfriend. I really enjoyed the activities Dustin and all the fun squad did an amazing job, also I thought all the performers were great too. You could never say there was nothing to do because there was always an activity. I loved my dining room server WEBERT! He’s amazing and would have him again any day. He’s always in such a good spirit. All the ports were great i think i would change San Juan though. Oh and I loved the lip sync battle idea it was so much fun to watch. I will definitely travel with carnival cruise line again easily. Amazing staff everyone was so kind and cruise ship! Read Less
