Let me start off with we decided to take a cruisetour with Princess to Alaska since it allowed us to see the Alaska panhandle and Denali National Park. The land portion was very good. The food and service was excellent as was the coordination efforts of our escort/guide. Michael was great.
On the other hand, the cruise portion was very below average. We paid for an up-charge dining at the ...
I liked the idea of a one way cruise, rather than a round-trip journey. Very smooth embarkation process. The scenery couldn't have been more stunning, and we were favored with good weather 6 out of 7 days; I've been told that's a rare occurrence! Crew and staff were delightful and very professional in every way. The ship is a little dated but comfortable enough. Decorations are bland and ...
Loved the cruise however this ship has seen better days. There are maintenance issues with sewer smells in the stairwells, tattered furniture in public areas and bathrooms that have holes in the doors, with lots of rust all around. Our Balcony cabin was nice and our steward was very attentive. Service was to be expected in the dinning room but nothing above and beyond. Entertainment was just ok ...

Princess gave wrong info on EZ air. Booked, told i could buy EZ Air within , messed up my fare and was due refund. Called again today and Princess said not sure where to refund the $332. WELL....How about same CC I used. Overnighted $32 fee, other issues. NO RESPONSE BACK. 1st grade skill level.
Onboard was great. Staff great. Really too bad for the onboard staff.

friends already booked trip through their travel agent The dining rooms had very good service, but some of the selections were not part of the average American's diet! The ship had many Asian citizens, and the buffet always had Asian food. The lunch menu was extremely disappointing. The desserts were awesome, as was the pizza. The ship was kept very clean. Some of our travel members received ...

Hi pchoofinit, thanks for your feedback from your recent Glacier cruise. We're also a big fan of the Yukon train ride! Hope to see you onboard again soon!...
We did land tour at beginning, flew to Anchorage, stayed at Captain Cook Hotel, very comfortable, breakfast was very good, price was high for Bfast. We took Princess bus to Mt McKinley Princess Lodge, loved the lodge and the food and service was excellent at all restaurants. We saw Mt McKinley both days and had a great view on back deck also nice fire pits in the evening.I rate the rooms as average but ...
Travel Agent suggested it because Princess handles everything in Alaska for tours. Everything well handled. Non of the on board activity suited us, but we did use the free library. We are over 60 but not interested in shows, casinos, playing games.
Recommend constant check of on ship credits from customer service - if you don't pay gratuity (approx $13.80 for each meal) ahead is taken ...
Overall I was disappointed with the service we received. From everything I had heard and read I was expecting better service. I felt you are constantly nickel and dimed. we also had an unfortunate incident, we paid for the special coffee card, planning on having cappochino coffees through out the week. First day at sea we had our first cup. Terrible, 3 times they tried to remake it. When we asked ...
We did a 7 day land tour and then the cruise. Glad we did the cruise after the land portion as the cruise was much more relaxing. So glad we had complimentary laundry service which was great. We booked the Bali Suite on the Caribe suite on the port side. It was amazing! Had a champagne brunch on our balcony the second morning on a glacier sailing day Fabulous! Recieved fresh fruit ...
The cabin was fine and the beds were comfortable. The closet was large but it did not have enough hangers. Glad I took foldable plastic ones. They came in really handy. We had ordered kosher meals but they were not served with plastic utensils which are necessary to maintain the kosher. The kosher meals were not very good and they were only available for dinner, not breakfast or lunch. I would ...
