Hello all,
I took a bit of time to settle back from our cruise to fully digest all the activity.
Positive Points:
- Our cabin steward, Kurt was fantastic. We had an issue of me leaving dirty dishes outside our cabin after we had room service. I guess I was the one at fault here as I did not know to call Room Service to pick up the dishes instead of just leaving the dirty dishes by our ...
We chose this cruise as a must do - bucket list. The ship was clean and well maintained. The staff and crew were courteous, kind and helpful. The food in all restaurants was excellent. The cruise director and his staff kept us busy and well informed throughout the cruise. The tenders at the port of calls were fast and efficient. The tours we were on were great. There is a lot of variety for all ...
We choose this cruise for the experience of sailing through the Panama Canal. We actually had 2 days in the Canal with the first day experiencing going through the locks and the second day a nature sightseeing excursion that gave us the chance to see the canal on the water while also finding several varieties of monkeys, birds and a croc. Having white faced monkeys in the wild taking banana ...
We chose Princess and this itinerary because it included a full transit of the Panama Canal and ended up in San Francisco, near home for us. The ship has shows on the stateroom tvs about the Canal as well as a couple of lectures and full-day commentary the day of sailing through--I know that's what you really want to know! We were not disappointed and loved the aspects stated as well as sampling 5 ...
We chose this Itinerary because of the ports of call and the full transit of the Panama Canal and also because of the cruise line and the ship. The Coral Princess is a great ship with more public space per passenger than most of the big or medium cruise ships, which makes you feel less crowded everywhere you go and is also a very nice designed ship with beautiful lounges, bars, restaurants, ...
On our 9th cruise with Princess, we were very happy with our Panama Canal transit. While the cruise does take several days to get to the canal and stops in some very questionable ports along the way, it all ends up being worth it as the transit is a "bucket List" experience.
The Coral Princess is an older ship, but the size is good for this crowd - older retirees with plenty of time on their ...
Previous cruise with Princess to Alaska had very nice service. This one reinforced my opinion of Princess professionalism. We are looking forward to our next cruise! For anyone who has never enjoyed the pleasure of CLUB CLASS, I fully recommend the experience. no waiting and professionalism of the wait staff. it is like watching a highly trained dance team. The buffet was also convenient for ...
The food on this cruise the coral princess was the worst we ever had on a cruise .food was overcooked and at times criminated.the variety was awful in fact terrible. breakfast was minimal and lacked fresh fruit,we were told fresh fruit was only for decrative purposes on cakes. The lunch time food was mushy and you didn't know what you where eating. The evening was the same. The ship itself was old ...
Breathtaking Magnificent Panama Canal transit, great service in the dining room by Alexsandra Vrapcevic, fun activities with cruise director Fernando, Lauren Meyer always extending herself
Minisuite D314 was great, weather fantastic. Perfect mix of sea days and ports. Wish there were more stops in Mexico.
Very smooth embarcation and disembarkation. Used luggage service direct to airport ...
I choose this cruise to see Central America and the Panama Canal. The ports were very good, but Huatulco Nicaragua, the Canal experience and Guatemala were the highlights for me. The tours in these locations were the best.
The ship is small which made it easy to get around. The service was lacking in some areas. The dining room meals were skimpy and not very tasty.
I didn't see any shows ...
