We choose Princess because we are elderly but we enjoy cruising and didn't want to be with a lot of children and loud noise, Princess was the prefect ship, good food, lots of wonderful entertainment, wonderful sports to stop at ! It was so very exciting going through the Panama safely, Princess allows Bible Study every day and Sunday morning worship! Princess is the best! Tea time was so very ...

It was my husband and my 3rd honeymoon (2 were not enough) as we are both widowers in our 50's who found one another 3 years ago and are celebrating every minute of life together in love. So, on both our bucket lists was the Panama Canal. Princess delivered an extraordinary experience. (And I am a pretty experienced traveler for business.) There were just a few negatives. Boarding on Princess' ...

Amazing Panama Canal Cruise

Excellent value for the unforgettable experience, delicious food and wonderful shore excursions. We had an excellent overview of the various countries in South America as we sailed round the Panama Canal. The cruise provided a valuable and cheap way of visiting the various countries via the various ports and shore excursions. The cruise also provided excellent enrichment programs relating to ...

We departed from Vancouver and had gone in 2 days early to stay at an airbnb on Vancouver Island - which was great. We rented a car, took the ferry to the Island, stayed at an airbnb for 1/3 the price of a hotel room and got the the boat in plenty of time to depart. Princess knows how to move people. Embarkation and disembarkation was efficient and timely. We liked the variety of ...

15 Night Panama Canal / Repositioning draws International crowd, mostly seniors

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Coral Princess

We chose this cruise because the Canal was on our "bucket list" and the last minute deals to fill the cabins were excellent. We like the size of the Coral Princess but if you need water slides and discos into the night to survive, you want another ship. Because this was a long cruise (15 nights) there was a lot of time spent on the ship. Surprisingly to us, the passengers were a mixed group from ...

I know the heading is tuff.. but at 46 and 48 we where some of the youngest people on board.. Here are some Pros and Cons Pros 1. Quick checkin - under 5mins 2. Food was good compared to other cruise lines ( just don't order any beef) 3. "The Voice at Sea" was a great show 4. Drinks where great and not watered down like other cruise lines Cons 1. Ship is very dated 2. ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. It was 21 days of just mediocre food and service. Ports and tours were good but the entire cruise was affected by terrible service and institutional type meals. Embarkation was very well organized. Vancouver was an excellent port and everything went well. Disembarkation was another excellent experience. We were off the ship and on our way to the ...

This was a Pacific coastal cruise--somewhere I wanted to see. It was vintage Princess, but the Coral Princess is very nice no matter what you may read in these reviews on Cruise Critic. Yes, there are a couple of chips, etc here and there, but it's very nice, very clean. The size is good. I hardly every had to wait in line for elevators or food at the buffet. My husband's leg started giving ...

My wife and I are a couple in our early 50s. We have cruised many times before. We consider ourselves as moderate people with realistic expectations when we cruise. Princess has always been a favorite of ours in its class. This cruise was a 22 days cruise from Vancouver to FLL on the Coral Princess. Embarkation and Disembarkation went smoothly. 5/5 Ship : The Coral princess is a ...
