Panama was on our bucket list. We sailed on the Coral Princess to Alaska in 2015 and it felt like coming home. The ship was all decorated for Christmas and it was absolutely beautiful.
We had so much fun with Corey and his staff that we seemed to laugh all the time. We participated in the sexy man leg contest, pool races, the bartenders contest as judges, the name that song contest, and many ...
We booked this cruise one week before the sail date. Talk about last minute! We drove down to Ft. Lauderdale from Raleigh, NC. We stayed at a hotel in Hollywood, FL that will let you park your car for the duration of the cruise. There is a shuttle from the hotel but it's not cheap ($50 round trip for 2). I think we would have saved money using Uber - maybe next time. We got to the port early and ...
Being able to see the Panama Canal was the big deciding factor in picking this cruise on the Coral Princess. We were also able to book a very nice cabin with handicap accessibility which is important since by partner as serious mobility problems.
From the start of the cruise to the finish everything went very smoothly, with no unpleasant surprises.
Embarkation was a breeze. I think we were ...
I like to cruise with Princess because everything is always CLEAN and you get Superior Service. The food is amazing on board the ship. The beds in our room are excellent. I have cruised with one other cruise line and did not like it. The process getting on and off the Ship was painless. We had an early flight out of Fort Lauderdale and we got off prior to everyone else and it went rather smoothly. ...
Our grand experience began when we chose the Princess airport to ship transfer. Easy. No fuss. As we entered the ship we found stunningly beautiful Christmas decorations throughout. Our well appointed balcony stateroom allowed an excellent view, especially as we navigated the Canal. Traditional dining is our favorite. We like the more stately dinning experience along with meeting interesting ...
The Panama Canal has been a bucket list and we were able to finally check it off. The Coral Princess and a little bit of a musty smell but after the first day we did not notice it. It is the smallest ship we have ever been on but it was beautiful. I missed the hubbub of the Piazza on the larger ships but the Atrium on the Coral Princess was beautiful. The nightly entertainment and shows were of ...
We wanted a 10 day Panama Canal Cruise vs 14-15 days so chose this itinerary plus the price was right. Food and service was very good in the dining room. Selection in the buffet was fine, but I really never like the buffet all that much. Stateroom was nice, predictable, bathroom showed a little wear and tear. I think it is crazy that the casino is close to the International Cafe. We could not sit ...
This was a beautiful and fun cruise. The ships staff was fabulous and so kind. The casino was not big, but BIG fun. The food was great but not as fabulous as the Alaskan trip on the Star Princess out of SF. Loved having a balcony this time, where we slept with the window slightly ajar to let in the moist/fresh air in . We had a great time touring Colombia on Segways. My 70-year old brother-in-law ...
This was our 17th cruise and the longest one my wife and I have taken. It was also our first (but not last) cruise with Princess. It was wonderful! The Ports visited were beautiful and the excursions were great. Everyone on the ships staff treated us like we were special. The ship was beautiful and completely relaxing. We had a mini-suite that was all we hoped for and more. It was very ...
Have always wanted to see the Panama Canal and partial transit was a great way to do it. Watched the workings from the bridge and it was amazing.
As for the ports, all were as expected. Went to the Rainforest in Limon. Beautiful and peaceful. Tour of Cartagena was interesting but vendors hounding you every second was a bit annoying. Rafting in Jamaica was a unique experience. Beach in Aruba. ...
