We have just returned home form a Rome to Venice cruise. On the whole our experience was very positive and found the experience very relaxing, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever been so relaxed ! We had a classic drinks package , select dining and a $300 on board credit included . The drinks package was well worth it. Embarkation was well organised and timely. On the positive side, the ship ...

Disappointing!

I was very much looking forward to this cruise. I have been on several others and having sailed with RCCL previously I was led to believe that Celebrity was a step up from this. I'm afraid I found otherwise. The ship was older and smaller and that I can live with as the itinerary was what I wanted to do. However older and smaller is no excuse for poor quality food, unhelpful staff and poor ...

Another good Cruise with Celebrity

We have been cruising with Royal Caribbean and Hurtigruten in addition to Celebrity. Celebrity is still our favorite. The Constellation is one of the older and smaller ships in the fleet, but is a great ship to cruise with. We flew in to Venice a few days Ahead and stayed at Hotel Continental in the center of town until departure. The hotel was OK, but I felt it was a bit of a fire hazard, ...

I was on my third cruise travelling with my sister and my two adult sons. We were lucky to get a FV stateroom which worked out just less than the price of a balcony plus interior and was worth it easily for the amazing balcony. Dining -we made good use of the MDR, cafe, room service and cafe bacio but didn't pay any extra at all for upgraded dining. All food was excellent quality. We had select ...

Five star modern luxury let down by a few things that were unnecessary.

Venice to Rome. We chose this cruise primarily for the itinerary but because we wanted a bit of 'luxury' for husband's 60th birthday celebration. I had read that Venice was chaotic and it was. It wasn't helped by a Rep at the arrivals who wasn't interested in my query about the coach transfer. She was only dealing with transfer vouchers and "I wasn't on her list" she quite rudely turned her ...

My husband and i really enjoyed cruising with celebrity our first time with them and our fourth cruise. Excellent food and choice throughout the ship. We choose select dining for our first time and it was brilliant. Service excellent throughout the ship and nothing was any trouble to any staff. Embarkation very speedy and glass of champs was very welcome. Ship spotless also the stateroom and ...

Embarkation in Venice took only 15 minutes max. Boarded ship about 1pm & cabins ready by 1.30pm. Had sailed on Equinox last year so a bit disappointed by interior of ship especially cabin which was tired & need of update. The itinerary was great especially Dubrovnik & Kotor which were absolutely stunning ports of call. We only dined in MDR on select dining option. The level of service was ...

My daughter and are embarked on our very first cruise this spring on the Celebrity Constellation. We travelled from Nova Scotia Canada all the way to Venice, Italy, where we met our cruise ship. We were in Venice for a good part of 2 days; Dubrovnik, Croatia for 2 days; Kotor, Montenegro; Corfu Greece; Katakolon, Greece; Valletta, Malta and ended our cruise in Rome, Italy. We were in a ...

Just returned from our cruise on celebrity constellation. This is our 5th cruise with celebrity which we thought we would return to after two mediocre cruises on RCCL and Holland America. The first thing to go wrong was that my husband and I were allocated a different dining table to my sister and her husband. We did finally sort it out after two trips to see the Maitre d'. We had cross ...

Just got to share an amazing experience aboard the Constellation hosted by a fabulous Captain destined for high recognition in the industry. Captain Tasos was endearing throughout the cruise participating in lectures, volleyball and light entertainment. Considering his prestigious position I found the guy to be charming. I particularly liked his style and his sense of humour. My favourite ...
