Overall a fantastic experience and we met some great new friends (other cruise critic members). The opportunity to communicate with them prior to departure and organise to form port tour groups was a great way to see the sights and enjoy great company.

Just got home. I have to admit, I was not too impressed with the cruise. I think we have been spoiled by going on celebrity eclipse and RCI independence of the seas.

Firstly, don't mistake the itinerary with the quality/treatment of the actual cruise line. One cannot fault the islands or weather and this ultimately says whether you had a good holiday or not.
Secondly, the waiters/waitresses and cabin boys etc.. are all lovely people who are very friendly and this applies to all the cruise lines. After all, they take from the same pool of people.

Just returned from our 25th Anniversary trip to Europe, having spent the first week on the Constellation and most of a second week on land. Perhaps we should have done it the other way around, as Celebrity had definitely spoiled us with all the ice-water we could drink, unlimited towels and food, and constantly refreshed cabin . . .after that, traveling on land was a rude awakening!

We've been on at least 20 cruises (5 Celebrity). This was the shabbiest ship ever. Crew service and food were mediocre at best. Internet service was the worst of any ship we've sailed. The entertainment was nothing. The public areas/amenities lacked any pizazz.
