Very very small ship needs a huge update. Hopefully they will fix the issues cleansing and update disability Lyft to work.

Sailed on the constellation, last september, and found so much lacking this time. Dining: service not as good, did not pay attention to what i ordered. the meat was always dry. one night we had lamb and everyone after said it was chewy and hard to eat at all. Worst ever entertainment, only one show was really worth watching that was goronwy thom., the rest we saw last year nothing ...

First Cruise, Great Experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

To celebrate our fifth anniversary, my husband and I decided to go on a mediterranean cruise and found a good deal on the Celebrity Constellation with an ocean view cabin, and drinks and gratuities included. The embarkation process went fairly smoothly although there was quite a line. We arrived via train from Rome, and tried to walk all the way to the ship which didn't quite work. Fortunately ...

This was our first Celebrity cruise after 4 with Royal Caribbean. After reading a lot of negative reviews we were a little concerned. Well obviously we are easily pleased as this was our best cruise ever! We were on board within 15 minutes of arriving at the ship, and greeted with a glass of champagne. We explored the ship a little and then had a lovely lunch at Bistro on Five. The staterooms ...

This was our first cruise with Celebrity having sailed for 11 years exclusively with RCI and we decided to try out the sister line as an alternative. As a bit of background I will give you the details of our travel experience to the port as it will help explain why we think so highly of Celebrity who I believe will now be our cruise line of choice. Also this review is only about Constellation, ...

Celebrity; A Misnomer, and Cruise Not As Described

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

In most cases our Celebrity Cruise ‘met expectations’ and so I have given it an ‘average rating, but, unfortunately, Celebrity fell short on every level – perhaps with the exception of the hotel and restaurant staff. One aspect in which Celebrity catastrophically failed to meet expectations was in the itinerary and name of the cruise. Listed as a cruise of the ‘Eastern Roman Empire’ – it ...

Good itinerary, but standards declined on Celebrity.

Travelled as a group of 10 friends having booked this cruise some 14 months in advance for the itinerary which did not disappoint. Having previously cruised on the Reflection we knew that this ship was smaller and older, indeed it was starting to feel a little frayed around the edges. Have summarised below the good and bad points; Good: The ship is kept very clean, no issues with our ...

Attention to detail was not there

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We have cruised with Celebrity on all 3 of our cruises, and have considered ourselves brand-loyal to them. While we are younger than much of the clientele (32 years old), and we have genuinely enjoyed travelling with them. But this cruise, while being a good cruise based on the Ports, lacked significantly in its attention to detail, with a glaring hole in how they dealt with our ...

We have been on the Constellation before and she is a nice ship. Very clean and well kept. Our cabin in Concierge was excellent as was our balcony. Transportation from Venice Airport: airports-shuttle-express.com. 50 euros for 4 people Celebrity was not really giving maps at the ports unless you went to the Guest Relations desk and asked. Koper, Slovenia Booked with Travel Slovenia ...

Good, But Not Quite Solstice Class

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Having sailed a few times on the Solstice Class ships we decided to try the Connie due to the timing, itinerary and price. We still had a great time on the cruise but just thought it lacked the wow touches the Solstice class ships have. The buffet on the Connie does not seem to have the same expansive selections and layout with the asian section having mainly Indian selections as opposed to a good ...

Celebrity Constellation: Pay 5 Star, Get 2 Star

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

User Avatar

This was our second cruise on Celebrity. It did not compare favourable with the first. Like others who have reviewed the Consellation we found the accommodation far below the 5 Star rating you would expect for the cost of the cruise. The bedding was torn in two places and the sheets were threadbare. Worse, a single size top sheet was used as the top sheet for a king size bed. It was very ...
