We are Celebrity frequent cruisers, we liked the itinerary and the dates We spent about 4 nights pre cruise in Santiago--highly recommended! The port is about 2 1/2 hours from Santiago.. We had been on this ship before but not since it was updated. The ship was lovely as was our verandah cabin. Our fellow passengers were a fun mix of Europeans, South Americans and North Americans. We had 2 ...
We sailed out of Ft Lauderdale and our embarkment was flawless. We were given access to our Aqua Class room early. The ship's crew were all friendly and accommodating.
We upgraded to Aqua Class and thoroughly enjoyed the spay experience. It was worth every penny of the upgrade. The Blu restaurant is an added bonus . Anthony (from India) was our waiter each evening. His level of professionalism ...
We were so excited for our stay on an "upper scale" cruise line! Stayed in Aquaclass. Where were our towel animals? Where was our stateroom attendants? We never set eyes on him until we were leaving! We asked for ice to chill our wine in the bucket provided in our stateroom, and was brought a small cup, so we asked for more, and never received.
The one show we did watch was a not-so-funny ...
Nice short last minute get away. We had a standard Verandah cabin 9016. The room was nice and clean. Had a small pull out couch and I believe a drop down bed. The verandah had a tapered overhang from the above floor (spa area). The overhang did not allow a lot of direct sunshine, but it did give pretty good privacy and cover from the rain.
There is only one outdoor pool area, but plenty ...
Although this cruise had quite a few Spring breakers we sailed without a hitch. Constellation isn't a new ship but is well maintained and other than the bed skirts showing little wear. Our oceanview cabin on deck 3 albeit small suited us perfectly with a very convenient location mid-ship.
Both my Mom and I felt that the service on the Constellation was fantastic. The dining staff, ...
Never before have a been such a wide variety of age groups on any cruise line or ship before.
One great thing were the college age kids who were on Spring break, (most major college's in the U.S.A start spring break in March), I-- being a product of the movie, "Animal House" and the college age of the 80's and a 18 year old legal age remember a more wild and rambunctious Spring break spent in ...
My girlfriend and I recently took a short, five day, "resting" cruise to Key West and Cozumel on the Celebrity Constellation, without our husbands. We stayed overnight at the Ft Lauderdale Hilton Marina before the cruise and it was easy and cheap to get from airport to hotel to cruise port and back to airport. We booked the Hilton's preferred transportation service to get to the hotel and had a ...
We recently took the Flower Power Cruise aboard the Celebrity Constellation for 5 days to Cozumel and Key West.
The entertainment was great but many of the services aboard the ship were lacking. Though the state rooms were fine, the food quality was inconsistent in the main dining room and terrible all week at the buffet.
Most noticeable was the poor service through the entire ship. We ...
Let me begin by saying, we always have a good time when cruising. It's a wonderful vacation experience with food, service and entertainment. However, we all may have a different opinion on level of quality, etc. and we all can have a difference of opinion regarding the ship. That being said, our opinion regarding the Constellation is that the ship is mediocre - as was our experience based on a ...
This was our first time cruising with Celebrity. We have cruised on Disney twice before and Holland once. We had an Aqua Class cabin - 1133 (large veranda). The view from the room was great, but the boat rocked quite a bit. My only compliant was the veranda door would not stay open or shut when you were outside - it banged back and forth due to boat rocking. Room was noisy at night - I ...
