After researching potential cruise companies for my first ever river cruise in Europe, I decided on Uniworld with its consistent annual award-winning history. I wanted a trip that covered all expenses, including accommodation, food, beverage, tours/excursions with options for the less physically able - I use a walking stick - and gratuities, as once I stepped on board, I wanted to be carefree and ...
Always wanted to cruise the Rhine river and now have achieved it. The management of the restaurant, tours and ship was outstanding leaving us to enjoy our holiday stress free. The tour guides utilised by Uniworld were excellent, they all knew their subject very well and presented the knowledge to us at a good level so that all understood. After each tour we were given time to explore the town by ...
This was our first river cruise and we had never heard of UniWorld prior to our travel agent recommending them. Well I have to say, this company was fantastic, great food, wonderful crew who couldn't do enough to help and assist. One of the guest fell ill during the cruise, the captain arranged a taxi, went with the couple to the hospital, translated for them and waited with them until they could ...
This was our first river cruise and we chose Uniworld because of its all inclusive nature. We booked our own travel and stayed for 3 nights in Amsterdam prior to boarding the ship. When we did board mid day, we were welcomed and shown around and encouraged to partake of the lounge offerings and lunch (and on the day of debarkation the guests were encouraged again to stay for lunch and hang out in ...
My "bucket list" contained Tulips, and I satisfied it with this cruise! Keukenhof Gardens was simply an amazing place. Even in inclement weather the tulips just "sparkle". Upon inquiry, Cruise Director Rik set us up with a wheelchair, for which there was no charge! Otherwise, as an elder, I could hardly have seen very much (my adult granddaughter pushed me around for spectacular ...
We chose this cruise to see the tulips at Keukenhof Gardens. This was our second Uniworld cruise and it was wonderful. Our first cruise was on the Maria Theresa and we wondered whether Uniworld’s excellent service would continue. It did. This cruise was on the River Princess which holds 130 guests and 41 crew. There were only 78 passengers and nothing ever felt crowded. The entire crew was ...
It was our first trip with Uniworld and we had the usual first trip concerns, but were blown away with the entire package, ship, crew, meals and side trips. It was first class all the way from the time we got off the airplane until we got in the cab for a stay over in Amsterdam.
Within one or two days all the crew that we saw on a daily basis knew our names and what was our favorite beverage. ...
This was our 4th UNIWORLD cruise. The ship was clean, the staff was great, the excursions were excellent. The tulips were open, the sun shone, the food was wonderful. Every need was met and exceeded on this trip. Whatever we asked for, they made happen. The price is great: all liquor and wine and gratuities were included. The entertainment was local and very enjoyable. A small ship and we ...
We found this to be the nicest cruise line that we have been on. The service was wonderful, great food, open bar, excursions included, gratuities included and we found the ship to be in excellent condition on all levels. Our cabin was quite roomy and the bathroom was very nice. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.
We chose to arrive in Budapest two days prior to the cruise ...
Where to begin...
The ship is beautiful, the staff is friendly and efficient (I've never seen people work so hard, and always with a smile), the food was gourmet - fresh, delicious, cultural selections, the sailing was smooth and scenic, the tours were well planned and informative (wonderful tour guides), and we wanted for NOTHING! Although I was worried that I would be anxious about the time ...
