Ok so where to start, so many things to say. First of all, we had to wait 4 1/2 hours in line in the heat just to get on the ship. We never went to a terminal. It was a tent that was even hotter inside to wait in more lines. After a couple hours they finally started passing out water while we waited in line. We didn't leave until 6pm and when we got onboard there we didn't get to grab a bite to ...
This was our 50th cruise with Royal and by far the worst.
Boarding was a nightmare. I understand that there was no terminal, just a tent. That was out of Royal's control. But there were no Royal representatives to help on the dock. No one to tell us where to drop off luggage, or assist with the 1/4 mile long line. No one to assist with handicapped till 3 pm. Got to dock at 1 pm didn't board ...
We chose this cruise because Royal was supposed to be better. IT'S NOT!!!
Boarding was a nightmare. The bussed us off to a park and didn't return to take us back for hours. People were taking cabs back to the port thinking they were going to miss the boat. When we got back people were lined up for hours in the hot parking lot. The guest started fight with each other because some were cutting ...
RCCL Navigator of the Seas
We cruised 7 days from November 27 to December 4, 2016, and this was our 57th cruise. We are rated Diamond with RCCL and we cruise with several other cruise lines.
We had a balcony cabin.
Cabin condition and its size were fine. Ship’s public areas were all fine.
The food offerings in the main dining room and on the Deck 11 buffets were way below what we have ...
This cruise was a christmas present from my son. I was excited to try a new cruise line. We had only cruised with Carnival in the past. We spent the night prior in Miami and went to South Beach where a fight broke out between two groups of stupid kids. Other than that it was ok.
The morning we went to the port was a complete and total mess with 5 ships in port that day. Navigator had Terminal ...
As Diamond Crown & Anchor members, my family has gone on many cruises, but we brought three cruise newbies on our group and we went to Puerto Rico for the first time in 33 years.
Pros:
- My wife and I got married on Voyager in 2003, so this class is memorable for us
- We also failed on Navigator in the Med five years ago, so we remembered the ship too
- It's really hard to get ...
Mom has liked Royal Caribbean in the past - it's a older crowd (she is 82) and she feels more comfortable. We had problems after problems. The guy at the desk told me 2 things about WIFI that was WRONG and they keep telling me to call Verizon. It's their fault.
Horrible customer service - paid for WIFI and it does NOT include calls or text - just data. So many things went wrong. From having ...
Our beloved RCCL really dropped the ball on this one and has shaken our opinion of the cruise line.
My wife and I are Diamond Crown and Anchor members and this was our 20th cruise on RCCL. We sailed on the Navigator of the Seas last year and had such a wonderful cruise experience we could hardly wait to sail on her again. I suppose this review will sound more like venting but I hope to save ...
The food wasn't too good. We had a smell in our cabin that they couldn't get rid of. We tried to spray & the odor just came back. They cleaned the carpet & cleaned everything in the cabin. We started to leave the balcony door open just to keep the odor down. Pillow was flat as a pancake I had to get an extra pillow since the flat pillow was giving a neck ache. We couldn't use our toilet for a day ...
We arrived at the port around noon. It took us close to five hours to board the ship. There were at least one thousand people in front of us to board. I did the survey after the cruise and expressed my unhappiness about the loss of a whole day just to get on the ship. My response was that I was the only person to complain. She said she researched this and found there was not a problem. ...
