A decline for RCCL standards, but still a nice ship

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

The Navigator is both elegant and well maintained. But the crew seemed to have lost enthusiasm along with the company´s expansion of the fleet or some other kind of management crisis. Already during boarding expect to be treated like a 2´nd class passenger if you are not a frequent RCCL costumer or travelling in a suite. The main restaurant serves food of a high standard, and service is near ...

We chose this cruise to visit the ABC islands, especially Bonaire, which we hadn`t previously visited. Arrived at Miami terminal around 12:30 to long lines awaiting check in. We went to our Diamond line which really didn`t make any difference as the directing staff was taking equally from each waiting line to check in, We were informed later that the computers had went down earlier causing the ...

Loyal RCL customer 91 RCL & 45 X cruises. but this was my all time worst cruise ever !!! It saddens me greatly to rate NOS so low but this may be too high ! Rarely saw anyone from the hotel department with strips around the ship, I think the officers were hiding from the unhappy guest which only amplified the problems ! Customer Service Desk was extremely slow because they were hoping guests would ...

Hate to rate it this low, but not a good sailing at all.

I really didn't really plan much for this cruise as we had so much going on before it like a funeral and a wedding, so my level was much lower than previous cruises just because we didn't have time to think too much about it. I'll break it down to the sections, there were some really good things, but it seemed like more bad than good at times. I don't have an option to rate it 2.5 so I'm going ...

We had sailed on Navigator of the seas, (NOS), back in 2003, 2004 and 2006 and as newer and larger ships came out we gravitated toward them. I found that a nine night trip had opened that left out of Miami and went to Labadee, (RCCL's private island), Curacao, Oranjestad, and Bonaire. Except for Labadee, theses were places we had not been to in many years. We booked the Royal Suite so embarkation ...

Some Highs and Lows - Overall OK

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Overall the ship was beautiful and clean. The service was adequate but nothing special and the food for the most part was somewhat below average. Embarkation was delayed due to four passengers hiding on the ship from the previous cruise. Once on board, bars and pools were open and the ship common areas were very clean. Our room was available on time and when we got in, the water that we ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We arrived in Miami the day before the departure which is always a good idea when coming from Canada as you can never predict weather and missing a cruise embarkation because of plane delay is never a good way to start a holiday. We stay at Best Western near the airport which was a nice place to rest up pre-cruise. Next morning we were shuttled to the port for $10 each. Not too shabby. We also ...

GREAT TIME

Great time cruise for the price. The perfect quick getaway to me in the holiday spirit. Our dining room staff were excellent and made for a great dining experience. Not that crazy about the ship since I was previously on the Oasis of the Seas where I preferred the cabin over looking the boardwalk. Had been to Nassau so many times I didn't bother to get off the ship. Wish there had been more lower ...
