We'd had an excellent experience on a previous RCI cruise and thought we would do it again - and brought 2 other couples with us, (for both couples, it was their first cruise).
We all had balconies and we fully participated in the experience - going to the spa, the theatre, bingo, RCI excursions, art auction, casino - everything!
The ports were wonderful and the ship was clean. It seemed ...
The ship is still beautiful. The staff is great. The only problem we had was the times for food service. When the Windjammer closes before the main dinner second seating ends, that is not right. The Windjammer needs to be open later, at least midnight but closes at 9. It made the trip difficult as my wife was part of a dance fitness group and needed to eat more often, but the only food available ...
We really have but a few complaints and many praises for this cruise. My fiancé and I boarded the ship in Miami with no problems or delays. Once aboard, beverages were plentiful and we had plenty of assistance finding our way around the ship. Our luggage was promised to arrive by 2:00 p.m., and it did. We did not see much of our cabin steward Mary, however, our room was always in order. Loved the ...
Two couples from Venice Florida took a five day cruise from Miami to Nassau and Cozumel on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. We enjoy cruising and were looking forward to enjoying five days at Sea. We had high expectations for the quality of Royal Caribbean. For this reason, we were disappointed. The cruise experience was no better than mediocre. The ship was clean and in good repair. ...
Hi everyone,
My wife and I took the little 5 day cruise to Nassau and Cozumel. It was my first time on on RCI and my wife's second. Our previous history includes Carnival (a long time ago, but a good time with the kids), Norwegian, then Celebrity.
My wife saw a deal, and that was that.
We purchased the drinks package and BOGO (the first 2 nights dinner package). We loved them both and ...
Okay, background information about us: we're 40-something DINKS (for those not familiar with what a DINK is "double income, no kids", we have lots of hobbies and stay active and absolutely love cruising. Our main activity while cruising is scuba diving so all 7 of our cruises have been to the Caribbean.
We drove to Miami from northern Florida and stayed at the YVES hotel. Great boutique hotel ...
The good old obligatory muster drill took over 30 min in the hot sun. One of the older guests collapsed onto the railing and had to be assisted. We were ordered out at 16:00 even though the Cruise Compass said 16:30. We had to wait for the last cabin to show up before they started the rehearsal. Not fair to those of us who got there on time or early.
The fridge in the room was not very cold. We ...
I must first say my wife and I cruise at least twice a year. We've chosen RCL as our cruise line of preference. Living in Florida we have a lot of choices, and RCL has never disappointed us and currently we're Diamond Status.
We been looking forward to this cruise for the past year and were not disappointed.
The Port of Miami was busy for a Friday, but we had no issues with boarding. Once on ...
For those reading this review, please understand that I write it from my perspective based on my experiences cruising.
My wife and I booked this cruise based on the itinerary. We are retired and decided to drive from S.C. to Miami for the cruise. Never having been to St Augustine, Fl, this allowed us to visit there and we were not disappointed.
We have sailed a number of cruise lines but ...
Ports where what we expected.Went on one ship excursion to a beach in Curacau, and set up a fun one with Sonny Tours in Aruba. Sonny went off the tour several times to show us additional areas.
Fun shows most nights. The ships shows were professional, and the guest entertainers were mostly good. Comedians are harder to judge. Bands and piano bar had loads of people.
Room steward also was ...
