The Navigator was not ready to set sail

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We (a group of 31) chose this ship because of the "new water slide and water coaster." The ship was to be refurbished and greater than ever. The first original sailing on February 24th was canceled and RC should have canceled the next couple cruises. Only one water slide was open part of the time, the other leaked to the floors below. RC failed to check the air conditioning units on the ship while ...

First cruise after it being refurbished. We chose this cruise because of its itinerary and it being 9 days. The renovations to the ship are very nice. Unfortunately some were not complete so, therefore, we didn’t get the full benefit. If I would of had children along I would have been disappointed because one of the slides was not operational yet and the children’s play areas were not ...

We chose this cruise because of the 9 day itinerary. And because of how long we were in port at each stop. But unfortunately because Royal decided to set sale with the ship not being at 100% we did not get the full benefit. If you had a child on this cruise you were very disappointed, which we did in our group. Adventure Ocean did not open until the 7th day of our 9 day cruise. Royal ...

Liked the vibe; staff communication not so much

Pretty loyal to Royal and a very good cruise overall, but have to say I am disappointed in what I feel is a slippage in quality of food and communication. We booked this cruise about 8 months prior to departure. Brought our adult children as well. 5 rooms total. Selected this particular ship for length of cruise and itinerary. Our room was a regular balcony. The children were all in various ...

We chose this cruise 2 years ago based on the itinerary and sailing date. Embarkation was a breeze since the cruise before us had been canceled. However, if you were a parent with small to teenage children, you would have been very upset, since they didn't start any of the kid's programs until Thurs. night. (We left Sat.) The re-fit of the ship included major work to the 11th deck, we were on deck ...

I was looking for a Royal Caribbean cruise to Aruba, Bonaire, & Curacao, and the Navigator of the Seas, sailing out of Miami, had just the itinerary I was looking for. My wife and I booked one of the two new panoramic suites above the bridge. We found the accommodations spacious, and the view out the floor-to-ceiling windows spectacular, which overlooked the helipad at the front of the ship. ...

New Year's Eve cruise on Navigator of the Seas

This is the second time that we are on this ship. We also cruised for New Year's last year and booked this cruise while we were on the ship. I have to say last year was better. The ship is getting ready to go in for dry dock for a major renovation. We live in Miami so we used Lyft to go to the port. We got there at 11:30 am. Embarkation was quick - we are Emerald and the line was very ...

Beautiful ship, great service, lacked some activities for the Sea Days

We enjoy cruising at Christmas - no cooking, no planning, no decorating, just enjoying time together as an extended family. Last year during our Western Caribbean Christmas Cruise on the Rhapsody, we pre-booked this cruise. We were looking forward to it as we've never been to the ABC islands. However, as we started looking at shore excursions, we found we were limited because we don't dive. We ...

We are back from our five-day cruise and already planning another one during Spring Break in March, 2019. We like cruising. I am not sure if we like Royal Caribbean, though. Our Navigator of the Seas cruise had ups and downs. The 3,800-passenger capacity super-ship had the largest cabin room (200-sq. foot room, 65-sq. foot balcony) that Denise and I have ever experienced. It even had a large ...

My husband and I planned this cruise a while ago. We have never been to the southern Caribbean so this was a great itinerary. We very much enjoyed the ports that we went to and would recommend to anyone wanting to explore it. We are very loyal to Royal and love what all they have to offer. Aruba, Bonaire and curacao were 3 of the best ports that we have been to, and might go back in the ...
