Pleasantly surprised by the opulence and elegance of this ship. From the moment that we were welcomed aboard, we felt at home. The main dining room was spectacular with its huge chandelier and curved spaces. Food is good and the plates are sufficient. Extra servings are welcomed. Our wait staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience a great one.
The ship is on the smaller side, so ...
Our 4th cruise on Royal and first on Navigator of the Seas. We loved it and was much better then the past few cruise on Royal. We flew down a day early and stayed at the Fort Lauderdale Hyatt Place, 17th Street. Every thing was great here. That Saturday, we departed at about 11AM to head to the ship. It was packed at the port, but really no issues. We were on the ship by 1:15PM, after an ...
Our March cruise was a step up from our last RC experience. It appeared that the crew was really trying to put their best foot forward. Everywhere we went the crewed went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. A Wind Jammer steward made sure she greeted us every morning with our coffee and tea. In the evening she always had something nice to say and a pleasant smile for us. ...
We sailed on the Navigator as a family of six, two adults and four children ages 5-15. We stayed in a family room (8200). The room was excellent with plenty of space for all of us and our luggage. I found the closet space a bit awkward as your hanging items block the shelf storage but that was a small issue. Our cabin steward was new to the ship but he was great. It was nice that he came twice ...
Embarkation: Delayed due to emergency on ship the night before. Despite that, we were on board within an hour.
Ship Shape: We found the ship to be in good ship and almost identical to the Liberty. No complaints on the cabins. Our group had 5 balcony, one inside Promenade and two outside cabins.
All public rooms and venues were well maintained. The Promenade is always a favorite of ...
Navigator of the Seas – March 5th 2016 Sailing
My wife and I are seasoned cruisers and I have completed Cruise Critic entries of our past voyages, I certainly do not use this forum to criticize at least that is not my intent. I do however share my thoughts and experiences based on previous cruises and comparable voyages. With that being said this is my review of the MS Navigator of the Seas ...
This cruise was amazing! Our destinations were, Grand Cayman, Falmouth Jamaica and Labadee Haiti. It was a group trip.
A week before we left, I started looking at reviews of the Navigator of the seas on this website (reviews of people who went ealier on 2016). These reviews were not that good. So I lowered my expectations because I am a clean freak concerning hotel rooms... BIG MISTAKE! ...
We were onboard Navigator for 6 night cruise to Labadee, Falmouth and Cayman Islands. We had already been on a cruise the previous week (Enchantment Mon-Fri) from Port Canaveral, from where we drowe down to Fort Lauderdale and spent the last night before Navigator cruise in Hyatt Place Plantation (great hotel, by the way: free parking, free wifi, free breakfast and a nice bed).
We dropped our ...
We done about seven cruises previously. Picked this cruise because we had not been to any of the ports of call (Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Labadee). Had some trepidation regarding this class of ship; sailed on Freedom Class (?) (one size up) last summer and they did not manage the people well - long delays for everything. Thought we might experience the same issues on Navigator and very happy to ...
February 25 to March 5 on the Navigator of the seas. Embarkation was fairly easy despite leaving from the dreaded terminal 29. Prior to the cruise, I stayed at the Quality Inn airport/cruise port, which was fine with free shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise port, along with free breakfast.
The first three nights was a Bahamas cruise to Nassau and Cocoa Cay. Weather did not ...
