Great Family Cruise

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Just returned from an excellent family cruise around the Canary Islands. We were a group of 6 adults and one very young child occupying three staterooms No. 8368 a port side aft balcony, No. 8690 an aft balcony and No. 1655 an internal virtual Balcony. The port side balcony was very roomy with a 4 seat couch. The aft balcony stateroom was rather restricted in size for the 2 adults and a small ...

Behaviour of some passengers left much to be desired

We are mostly independent travellers who have been using cruise ships over the past 4 years to see places we were curious to see but not necessarily for a lengthy stay. During this time we have taken 15 cruises - 4 Celebrity, 4 Disney, 3 Royal Caribbean, 3 Princess and 1 Viking oceans. I have enjoyed them all for different reasons but this one will always stand out in my memory for the bawdiness ...

Went to get some sunshine before the winter all the ports were very good always have a good time on RC went on Navigator out of Southhampton traveled with Eavesway coaches which are brilliant your holiday starts as soon as you get on the coach no worry about getting there on time. If anything the excursions are a bit pricey but the 2 we did were excellent we did a scenic in Maderia and did the ...

I travelled in a group of 8. This was my 6th cruise. My 1st Royal Caribbean Ship. I don't think I will be travelling on any other ship until I have done all the Royal Caribbean ships. Embarkation and disembarkation was so quick and smoothly. everything about the ship was wonderful. The stateroom (I like that name instead of cabin) sound posh. There was everything that you needed was in the ...

We were told that there were 1000 kids on board

half-term holiday with the grandchildren (9&11). unfortunately as the children have a different surname (they are our daughter's children) we had to pay £109 to get a notarised letter giving parental permission) the flow-rider and swimming pools and whirlpools kept them occupied most of the time. big queues at the flow rider. not enough time at the skating rink - very difficult to get ...

Great fun, but a bit Holiday-Camp.

A good 2nd RC cruise, generally. The ship is lovely; there's lots to do. The food is great, the staterooms nice and the staff/service are amazing. Sadly it's getting quite Butlins. For the price, it's less swish and luxurious than you'd imagine, especially compared to other lines. Whilst it was fun, it was over-crowded, and quite ropey in-parts, where activities/entertainment were aimed ...

This was our second cruise, both of which have been with Royal Caribbean. Although overall it was good, I was slightly disappointed and don't think we'll sail with them again. Embarkation was good - it was very quick and easy and so much nicer than an airport - and the ship is nice. There is so much on board with so many bars and activities that there is something for everyone to do almost all ...

We chose this cruise after sampling a PandO cruise in May. we liked that so much that we wanted to go again soon - having a small child meant that we have to stick to school holidays and this cruise was the only one available. Even though it was October we thought there would be enough to do on board to make it enjoyable. How wrong we were. There was hardly anything to do away from the elements ...

This was our first cruise which is way we chose this 5 day mini cruise from Southampton. From the very start we were taken care of by the wonderful Royal Caribbean staff who looked after our every need. The food in both the Windjammer Café and the main dining room was excellent. I've never seen people work so hard to keep everyone happy. There was so much to do from eating & drinking through to ...
