Great itinerary, lovely ship. Delicious food.

We chose it for the ports and we like the larger ships. Food was exceptional on this particular ship, better than normal. We don't usually like the windjammer but the food was really good for lunch and our children sometimes had dinner there and they really enjoyed it, fantastic selection and high quality for a buffet. Don't like the smoking in the casino. Concierge not as good as other ships. ...

I treated my wife (and myself) to a 14 day cruise for her birthday this year and chose this cruise because it sailed out of Southampton and therefore could take decent sized cases on-board as this was a no-fly holiday and you need lots of clothes for the various themed nights. Got down to Southampton the day before sailing (as I have done a few times now) and the weather was really great and ...

Disappointing

Chose this cruise because of the great ports of call. However the ship got there so late most days that we did not have enough time to visit. Because we missed the ship in Southampton due to our missed connection, we missed the first three nights at sea, therefore it was a shortened experience. We would have enjoyed the trip better if the ship arrived earlier at the ports A lot of the excursions ...

WAKE UP ROYAL CARIBBEAN! LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS

Oh dear. Royal Caribbean seem to have a 'squeeze every last dollar out of the customer' attitude and it spoiled our experience. This was our first cruise, and we would not sail with Royal Caribbean again, having spoken with many experienced cruisers whilst on board. It's not just about money, the daytime activities were pitiful, such as 'try on a watch event' in the watch store, 'guess the price ...

My Wife's 70th and Grandson's 21st and our 50th anniversary. We liked the Dining room and Windjammer for the casual meals, the food was good. Drinks and shore excursions were very expensive when compared to the online booking prices and the onshore (local tours) The exchange rate for South Africans made it even worse. Shore excursion members were not very helpful when asked for info on ...

Cruising is not what it used to be

Ship was renovated like a miniature version of Oasis/Allure. TV is limited with repeating shows shown in multiple languages. The safe feels like an oven when you pop open due to the equipment below such as TV and refrigerator. Given a choice between show versus dinner, we choose dinner since Windjammer close at 9pm. In the past it stayed open longer. During sea days, played Ping ...

Having lived in Asia/America for a long time we took the opportunity to explore part of the Med in order to scope out where we would consider returning in the future for a longer stay. The itinerary was varied and interesting with plenty of sightseeing opportunities available. Shopping seemed to be a big criteria at each port! Not being big shoppers I cant comment on the shopping malls or ...

We chose this Cruise as a continuation of the Positioning Cruise of 2016 of this Ship. We had not cruised the Mediterranean prior to this and felt we would be able to see more of the area by Cruise than by Train. We were very disappointed when there was not enough Port time in Cadiz to travel to Seville. When we calculated, we feel there would have been time in the Itinerary to have ...

14 Day Mediterranean Cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

I like the Voyager class of ships, so I enjoyed the Navigator. But cuts backs are obvious in food, entertainment and activities. Enjoyed the days at sea just wish there had been more to do. I really miss the professional crafters. The crafts provided by Royal Caribbean are the same old things that they have been doing for years. I don't think that the kits are worth the price. The quality of ...

Went on navigator for birthday celebration after going on other ships thought this would be good . Room was OK dining was not good the self service was always full and table service dining was hit and miss little changed on the menu daily it became a joke to ask what was tonight's fish to be told salmon or swordfish . Drinks are well overpriced 5Star prices for a 2 star experience. At the ports ...
