If I were to issue any complaint it would be that too many events happen during lunch and dinner. They do have two shows-one for early seating and one for late. This cruise ship had the best casino experience for me. The excursions were good but setting out in the morning needs to be more organized. Love the larger ships with the Promenade area. As a Diamond member the perks are a real advantage. It was nice that they moved the Diamond "area" from the small venue to the Star Lounge as there were almost 1000 guests that were able to take advantage of this. Read Less

Family holiday with grandparents who often cruise with Royal Caribbean. The cruise was beautiful, fantastic staff, amazing ports. We stopped at Aruba, Bonaire, Curaco and Haiti. Every island had beautiful beaches and great shops. enough for everyone to do in the family! We ate in the dining room, and our waiter was fantastic, food was amazing. We could order as much as we wanted, and it was not a problem if you did not like a food. A great way to try new foods. The entertainment was brilliant, different shows, an ice dancing show was brilliant, a couple of comedians, and the musical entertainment was fab. I felt like we got to know our cruise director 'Drew' and I hand even spoken to him! you could write in if you wanted to, there were always competitions to take part in! There were always ways to win prizes/gifts too! The windjammer restaurant was fab, always a brilliant selection. Amazing holiday, ended too fast! Read Less

We always fly in the day before our cruise. The last time our flight came in to Fort Lauderdale and we stay in Hollywood Beach. We had a great time so this time we booked our Hotel at Margaritaville Resorts to give this vacation the right way to start. We took the water Taxi to Fort Lauderdale and got to see some great homes and Yachts and lunch on the beach with a beautiful view. Embarkation went smoothly of course everyone is excited about the trip and thinks it takes way to long to get on the ship. But if everyone would just breath it doesn't really take that long. same with the disembarkation if you have a time slot to get off the ship if you actually waited till your time it would go smoothly and people would be nicer. This is our 10th cruise our preference is RCI the Staff is always amazing we have never had a bad experience on RCI we have had a few on Carnival. We always dine in the specialty restaurants for two reasons its quiet and the food is always amazing. The bar of choice for us is alway the Schooner Bar which always seems to be right out side of our set of elevators and down two floors. Always great to meet new people and make new friends. The Schooner Bar Staff is always in a good mood and ready to serve up some great drinks. Guest Services is always on point aboard RCI. We also do the UP card for our drinks and it pays for its self in one time from the specialty coffees on the Promenade deck to what every your heart wants to drink and I love that I can get a bottle of water to take back to the room for later. The shore excursions and ports on this cruise we outstanding on Labadee we took a yacht cruise and only had two other couples with us so it was well worth the money to not be crowded. In Curacao we did a speed boat ride and swim had a great time. In Aruba we went to the Butterfly Farm and Natural Bridge what a breath taking view. In Bonaire we did the catamaran swim and snorkel WOW this one and Labadee were the top two of our trip. The fish swim right up to you. We walked back to the ship so we could do some shopping on the way back. Cariloha bamboo store and Delosol store had lunch at a local beach restaurant. We also always get a balcony cabin on Portside front of ship. Love to wake up and see the ocean waves or the Port of Call. Read Less

Friends were going and they asked us to join them so we did and glad we did. Had only been out of Miami once before (long drive from home) but was worth the distance. Good crew in every area.Since my husband does not fly we can not enjoy Navigator again until this fall but I am sure we try her again. One suggestion post someplace the menu for the dinners in Windjammer. We just received our 630 block this cruise and out of all those times we have only had dinner once in Windjammer. (Breakfast and lunch every day) If we knew what the choices were we might have gone more often. Also as a pasta lover-if the pasta dishes could be served alittle hotter--not spicy --temperature wise- I have had several times (not just this ship) that I sent back the dinner pasta because if was not hot. Looking forward to our next cruise (this Sunday 4/30- Oasis for 2 weeks) thank you for your time Read Less

Our experience at the royal Caribbean cruise as be so lovely. Their cabin are the perfect size for a couple looking for a getaway. Their dish at the main dining room are so appetizing. The big selection of food at the buffet is very highly pleasant to taste. The Navigator of the seas have many delightful cuisine from different ethnicity such as Caribbean food, Asian food and many more. There's many big variation of fun activities inside the boat for any age. Taking a vacation can affect they way our physic look, but the Navigator of the seas offer a gym, with different classes such as pilates, it's a good way to stay in shape during a pleasant vacation. The staff were wonderful, we can't say enough good things about them, they were great. We began this celebration of our 35th anniversary with a night in Miami, near the port. We enjoyed a wonderful meal of Cuban food and a it of music to complete our initial travel day. After a relaxing morning at the hotel we made our way via Taxi to the port (5 minutes). Embarkation was smooth as silk. Dropped our bags, went through security and queued up in our line for check-in. Didn't take very long at all and we were on the ship enjoying the first of MANY meals along with a cocktail! We chose an inside cabin on a middle deck. It was roomy, dark (good sleeping) and quiet. Of course the room attendant was excellent thoughout the cruise. One of our bags didn't show up, but it turns out the ship held it because I had a 3" pointless diving knife in my BCD. After talking to a security wall for a few minutes, i gave up and they ended up stealing my knife. Logic did not prevail, but they did give me a pointed, sharp 6" long steak knife each night.. I still don't get it.. anyway.. I choose to eat in a healthy manner. I don't eat grains, starches or sugars as I'm diabetic and low-carb is a requirement for managing my sugar and weight. Not a problem in the Windjammer as you plate your own food and they had real whole foods available to eat. In fact the variety at breakfast and lunch were excellent! In the main dining room it was the efforts of our wait staff that made our experience delightful. They substituted and mixed and matched to create plates that met my dietary requirements. Wonderful experience! The scuba diving in Bonaire and Curacao was wonderful. We booked these ourselves as we've been to the islands on numerous occasions. Atlantis Diving in Curacao with Marcel was wonderful. Met us when and where he said and we enjoyed two 1 hour shore dives. In Bonaire we dove with Dive Friends Bonaire with instructor Evo! Again, thoroughly enjoyed these dives as we picked the site and enjoyed or 60 minute dives. We had booked a dive in Aruba with S.E.Aruba Fly n Dive, but for some reason they aren't able to go where all the other vendors and even taxis go so we waited for them for an hour but they never showed up. Apparently they are restricted from going where the others go - not sure why but it was a lesson learned. Never again.. The adult drink package on the ship was great. No signing pieces of paper, etc. Just order your drinks and enjoy your cruise. Service across the board was excellent. Plenty of places on the ship to enjoy quiet time. Or you can join the other couple of thousand people you're vacationing with out by the pool (not my thing) but they seemed to be having fun.. The nightly entertainment is excellent. Loved the late night comedians - too funny. My only real complaint about this cruise was the fact that they allowed smoking in the casino. The stench was so bad we didn't actually make it inside as the smell knocked you back before getting inside. At least outside you knew not to walk on the port side on the deck that had smoking. Couldn't smell them on the other side of the ship outside.. Cheers!! Read Less

Chose this cruse because of the ports of call it went to. I had been on Navigator a few years ago, still an amazing beautiful ship, was my co-passengers first time on Navigator, they said this is the best ship they have ever been on, and I agree. Ship has plenty for children and adults; large nice adult only areas as well. It could however use later food options, as there is only one small place open at night for food, can get rather busy. Only other thing that needed improvement is the disembarkation, and embarkation. (not the ships fault) The staff inside the building before you get on the ship is super rude, and not helpful. If there were any issues on-board, as long as you let staff know about them, they were quick to take care of it and make it better the best they could Everything else is wonderful about this ship. I chose this cruise mainly for the Itinerary and the length of the cruise. The embarkation went very smooth on board within minutes of arriving at the port. The ship was very beautiful and well laid out lots to do and the entertainment great except for the opening night welcome aboard show that was very high school quality. The service on this ship was exceptional the best i have experienced and i have been on 5 previous cruises with 4 different cruise companies. I wish I could say the food on this ship was as good as everything else I experienced but I want to be honest and fair. The food wasn't good at all and at times was quite terrible but I did manage to find things to eat...On other cruises when eating a meal I often said to my wife this is delicious....I don't think I spoke those words once on this ship. I had Prime rib one night that was soooooo bad it was shocking. I remember thinking that all the nationalities of the world has food stations, Indian, asian etc etc....I found the flavours run into the typical American/Canadian food. weird tasting gravy etc. I'm going to stop on the food as I don't want anyone to think this was a disaster. Im just hoping someone who can make a difference is reading and fixes this problem. I spoke with many people on this ship who felt as I did. I will remember this ship with many fond memories. don't miss the parade in the Grand Lobby on deck 5...it is nothing short of spectacular. This ship is large and I'm sure anyone who sails her with find their own special spots. Ours was out in the roman adult pool area..it was simply gorgeous there. overal this cruise was awesome and i wish I could do it all over again. Getting off this ship was another story ....a very slow 2 and a half hours but I can over look that. Read Less

Navigator of the Seas 14 Apr 2017 The staff consistently give the guest the feeling that they are pleased to be there for service. We spent 3 nights in Miami before the cruise. Great food. Waves too high for us to enjoy the beach in April. But there were many people at the beach just the same. We drove the the port of Miami. Easy enough to find with GPS. Parking was just a little difficult - because the parking garage is not marked at all. Even the exit for driving when leaving is not clearly marked. 9 nights Miami to Labadee Haiti, to Curacao, to Aruba, to Bonaire and back to Miami. Excellent customer service on the whole cruise. Ports are interesting. We did Island tours on each Island. Unfortunately snorkeling on Bonaire was cancelled by the shore vendor. Friends who snorkeled on their own loved it. Beautiful fish. Embarkation was a snap. Customs in debarkation took 1 hour in line. The US customs agents had unexplained delays. We travel Royal Caribbean as often as possible. We had a balcony cabin, departures were very nice to experience from our own balcony. Read Less

The ports of call are nice and the ship is the perfect size for this trip. It's not the larger ships such as the Oasis class but nice overall. When arriving at Bonaire DO NOT get the excursions from the ship as they are over priced. If you like to snorkel then take the water taxi to Klien Bonaire. This is a protected beach with coral reefs directly off the beach about 16 feet. easy swim out and back. Take a swimming pool noodle with you for a relaxing time. If you do not have your own snorkel gear you can rent it right there on the water taxi. It's ten bucks US for the set. The biggest complaint my family and I had was the dining room service was slow. We arrived at 5:30 sharp as instructed by our waiter and were always the last to be served and lots of times the last to leave the dining room. there was 8 of us at the table so its not like they had to feed 10 or 12. If you end up at table 296 then plan two and a half hours for diner that's 5:30pm to 7:45-8:00pm. The music was horrible on the ship. the band Vybes 4 I think was there name and sang to close to the microphone so it sounded like an episode of charley brown (mua mua mua). There is no background music in the dining room so all you rear is the sounds of people talking and smacking on their food. And this message I hopes reaches Royal Caribbean's ears Get some sort of music for the pool areas between the mumbling sounds of Vybe 4. Oh and some good music not picked from demo tapes of no name singers either they are not played on commercial radio for a reason nor should you insult your "guests" by making our ears bleed listening to it. Don't forget that 9x27.00 equals $243.00 on you credit card for service charges " gratuities". If you read this far then please do not think that I am not loyal to Royal I have lots of Stock in this company and don't want to loose all my money because people stop traveling with Royal I just want Royal tp do better and listen to there Guests. We chose this particular cruise based on the itinerary and dates available for our daughter's spring break. We fly in from Seattle and could not do a full week cruise, so we needed the shorter option to be able to arrive in time to board and depart. The lowest point of the cruise was probably at arrival, getting onboard. We stood in line for over 3 hours as we waited to check in. This was my fourth cruise and the first for my husband and daughter and I've never experienced such a horrible check in process. Once we were onboard though, everything was smooth sailing. The activities on the boat were a lot of fun. We had our 17 year old daughter and there were many things that kept her interested both throughout the day and in the evenings, things that kept her engaged with others her age, and not awkwardly trying to fit in. The staff in the main dining room was soooo friendly and helpful. We did not try any of the other restaurants (aside from Windjammer) simply because we truly enjoyed our waitstaff in our assigned dining slot. We went to the Illusionist and had a blast, he was very entertaining, we also went to the Marriage Game Show and enjoyed that as well. The production number was a little long, maybe not my speed so much, but great dancing. We loved the comedian and really really enjoyed the 70s disco party on the Promenade. We spent many nights at the Schooner bar listening to the pianist as well and really enjoyed him, however he did tend to go a little long committing to one singer or another and not mixing it up and involving the crowd as much as I would have liked. I was really impressed with the fitness center. I think all but one machine were working which I consider a huge bonus! I am used to having some out of order! The waitstaff on the pool deck was always available and helpful. We paid for the internet and had really spotty connection. I wasn't disappointed or surprised given we are at sea, but at some point, this should be improved. Another disappointing factor was that paying for the soda package for our daughter, $8/day did not include bottled water for her. This seems like a huge miss. It also seems like bottled water should be included in the state room since we paid for the beverage package. It would be nice to see a late night dining option other than pizza and cold sandwiches. That got old really fast. Jonny Rockets was a good deal at $7 each for all you can eat, however we didn't get to take advantage of this because when we did go it was so busy that we sat for 10 minutes and never got service. I'm not sure what the room attendant's role is aside from making the bed and changing out towels but I didn't really feel like much was picked up compared to what I experience at a typical hotel room service. Usually my vanity area is straightened a bit and I didn't get that. I don't know if that's to be expected or not. Read Less

We chose this particular cruise because it worked well within the time frame we were looking at. Wanted to be back home in plenty of time for Easter. As well, we liked the fact that it departed from Miami and had stops in Bahamas and Mexico. The price point was great too as we were able to have a balcony room for a decent price. I read a lot of reviews that weren't great on the ships appearance, food, etc. This was our first cruise with RCCL so we had nothing to compare it to, but we were not disappointed and cannot wait to go back. We've already started planning our next trip and may take the exact same ship again. Will likely bring our kids next time though as we do thing they would enjoy it. Last cruise I did was with Carnival 23 years ago so can't really compare. Embarkation went fine. We got there around 11:30 and were on the ship by 12:45. It seemed a bit chaotic when we arrived at the port, but it went smoothly once inside the terminal. Disembarkation was fine as well. We picked a time of 9:30 to get off and left the boat around 9:15 to make our way out to the terminal. Our bags were there waiting for us on the luggage belt. From the time we left our station on the ship to going through customs, picking up our luggage, and in a taxi on the way back to the airport was 30 minutes. The ship was great. Could see a bit of sign of aging, but that's expected. For the most part very clean although I did find that our room could have been a bit cleaner. Cabin was a great size. Dining was very good. Limited selection in the main dining room but still liked the food and the service was great (Sheriton and Polvin). My husband complained that he found the portions weren't very big in the main dining room, but I thought they were fine. We had My Time Dining and went to the main dining room three times for supper and once for breakfast. We really liked the My Time Dining and would do that again. I had made reservations ahead of time online before boarding. That worked well. We had a late breakfast on the day of boarding so we didn't eat lunch on board which was fine. We tried to avoid it as many people commented how busy it was at lunch time. We ate at the Windjammer the first night which was fine. Busy, but not too overwhelming. We also ate there once for lunch and for breakfast. I found it annoying that it was a difficult process go get something to drink other than water and some juices. On our third night we ate at Chops Grills. It was amazing. I don't even like steak but ate every bite. Appetizers, desert, service excellent! We ate at Johnny Rockets for lunch once which was okay. Typical burger joint I suppose. I wasn't happy with the fact that the waitress didn't explain that the milkshakes would cost extra (over and above the $6.95 charge for our meal) when she asked if we wanted milkshakes. They were $4.50 each. Definetly would not have gotten them or at least not two. Promenade Cafe was fine for evening snacks. Entertainment was great. We saw the Ice Dance show the first night which I enjoyed, by husband could have gone without seeing it, but still said it was fine. Saw a comedian that same night, as well as the next night for the adult only show. Watched an Illusionist which was okay and a Comedian the very last night which was good. We also took part in The Quest game the last night which was alot of fun. We didn't take in any of the production shows or jazz performances as its not really our thing. Went to the Casino most nights, typical casino, smoking was a bit bothersome but we knew it would be. We spent some time at the pool area on the sea days, but it was rather annoying trying to find a place to sit. Many people just had towels on their seats and would be gone for hours. We were lucky to get two spots in the solarium around lunchtime as two people had left. Beautiful spot and free of kids. We booked our own port excursions before taking the cruise. We booked through a private snorkeling place in Nassau, Bahamas, highly recommend (Blue Hole Watersports). There were only four of us on the boat going out to snorkel which was nice. We also did some shopping and ate lunch at Senor Frogs. In Mexico we spent the day at Mr. Sanchos Beach Resort, again booked privately and also did some shopping on the way back to the ship. Great day and would highly recommend. Read Less

Flew in from the West Coast so we took an extra day in Miami. This Cruise was for my 50th Bday had 2 of our 5 kids with us, the others are in college not so lucky for them!! The extra day in Miami was nice because we got in at midnight and had a great day to relax without trying to embark after a long flight the next morning. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Right across the street from the port. Location and the staff were the only things going for this Holiday Inn. They tried but they have a lot of work to do on this hotel. Lobby is nice, our room was what I call a low grade room. Sleep and shower and you don't want to be in there any longer then that. That being said it worked for us. Embarkation went well. walked in got in our lines. I thought it was funny because all of the Crown and Anchor level members had longer lines to get their sea pass card then the cruisers with no crown and anchor society. We were on the ship in no time. Everyone was friendly around us and the crew was helpful and happy while we got on. Disembarkation had a little hiccup. One of the gangplanks did not work so everyone was trying to get off through one gangplank. Its funny how impatient everyone can be, as well as this is any fault of RCCL. Stuff happens and its no ones fault. We have been on this same ship class before. They did refurbish it and it may need another refurbishing coming up soon. The Navigator was clean in all areas I went to. I did not spend anytime in the casino but I am sure it was clean as well. I love that they added the flow rider the kids and I spent lots of time on it. It is a great size ship I feel and we had a sold out sailing. That being said I never felt that crowded. We seemed to find chairs in the pool area or one floor up around the pool area to see everything that was going on. Maybe the only crowds where in the WJ and my wife waited a few times for the women's bathroom. The crew was super friendly and said hello everywhere we went. Bar service was better then I expected especially since I only had the soda card and would get sodas. There were several times I would be asked by another bar tender if I needed anything while my drink was being filled. Cabin was great. We had a balcony and we loved it. The room was very clean and our bathroom always shined. Our steward was there and met us when we got to our room. He told us his ours that he worked but if we needed him for anything to call him and he gave us his card. He was great we had ice twice a day in our room. He also left the towel animals I linked up during the week. We saw him 2-3 times a day and he made sure we were being taken care of. Dining I felt the food was very good not great. We only ate in the WJ and MD for our food. We did not do any specialty places except we did go to Johnny Rockets one night. Our waiter and asst waiter were outstanding. Asst waiter had my soda filled every time it got low. I never had to ask and always left a pretty full drink by the end of dinner. Waiter always had us try and extra meal if we wondered if it was good. He would say your on vacation try both. Was one of my favorite waiters over all my cruises. Ice show was everyones favorite and it is amazing what they can do on skates with a boat rocking around. My two daughters did the teen club and loved it. My older daughter was in and out went to what she wanted and my 15 year old met some great friends and they did everything together. Loved the flow rider, rock climbing wall. The mini golf is pretty basic and lots of activities like basketball, volleyball, soccer, dodgeball, and several other games. Had tournaments set up for youth and teens and adults throughout the week. The night shows were good although we didn't go to all of them. The Broadway review was amazing. As I mentioned I felt our service was outstanding we were helped and acknowledge every where we went. Crew was great. Kids loved the Teen supervisor as well. Sushi I think was her name not sure of the spelling but she made the times great for them. Labadee was a great beach day. I have not sat on a beach that long in a while. We were there for several hours. My daughter and I through the football for 1.5 hours straight. I thought my arm was going to fall off. The lunch offered was pretty basic ribs, hot dogs hamburgers, it was ok for a meal at the beach. We avoided the venders since my wife was attacked the last time we were there, with everyone trying to get you in there shop. We did go into the market very low key and easy to look around. Probably could have got a better price with the venders but they are relentless if you don't buy. Curacao we got off and just explored. We found a driver he took us around the island and showed us everything and told us everything about the island. He took us to a great little beach where we swam for a while. It was beautiful. Did a bulk of our shopping. Was a little mad with some of the chain stores after the fact because at some of them they had better discounts in Aruba. Aruba we set up a tour off the ship before we went with Danny's 2 Wheel Adventure. This was a Segway tour. I loved it Danny met us right out of the cruise ship terminal. Picked us up and we became instant friends. He was like part of the family and was awesome. We got to his shop and he took time with us to make sure we were comfortable on the Seaways. Spent as much time as each person needed. He locked up our bags and what ever else we wanted so we didn't have to carry anything as we road. Taught us about the island and the history. Always made sure we were comfortable and asked us often if we needed a break or wanted to keep going make us in charge if we wanted to stop and rest or not. He bought us all a smoothie at the lighthouse which was very good and refreshing. It was an amazing adventure. He lets us swim for a while at his shop and then took us back to the pier. He even made an extra stop for us that he didn't need to. He was very personable and took great care of us. He is a great tour guide and would not hesitate referring him to anyone. Bonaire was our favorite Island of the trip. It is a dessert Island with lots of cacti. We dove at this island. I read lots of reviews before I went and we went with VIP Diving. It is the best choice I have ever made in a dive company. I have been diving since I was 12 and as I stated earlier I am now 50. I have dove all over the Caribbean, HI, FL, west coast from WA to CA. These guys are the best dive company I have every used. We were again greeted right out of the ships terminal and Martian was our dive guide. He talked to us for a while but asked us questions about the diving that day what we wanted to see or do in our dive and went through what we would do for the day. Martian was an A1 person and dive master. So we went to the shop filled out some paper work and as we sat around the table he answered any concerns we might have and again pointe out a couple of dives we might want to do. We got to meet the owner of VIP diving while we were there and he was very friendly and was there to make sure we were taken care of and treated well. We were all given a real great water bottle that we would be able to use through out the day. What a great idea I thought we get a souvenir from Bonaire and we keep the environment friendly by not using a bunch of plastic bottles. We then were fitted with all our dive gear and gear was place in bins and we had them in the back of the truck. We were off to our first dive site. Martin was very thorough in our question and answer session. The best part about the dive shop was I felt that our experience was more important then getting us in to dive and back to the ship. First dive we did was perfect about 35 feet and lots of fish. We all had a good dive and everything went perfect. Second was this really cool spot no one was around. I thought it was amazing. During the dive my youngest daughter had some ear issues. Martian went above an beyond to make her feel comfortable calm. We had an amazing dive and loved every minute of it. VIP provided lunch for us and it was extremely good. I loved this dive shop and I cannot wait to comeback and dive with them again. Read Less

We spent 2 days in Miami prior to the ships departure touring Lincoln Blvd. and Ocean Dr. We also spent time around the pool at our beach front hotel and on the beautiful Miami beach itself. Embarkation went very smoothly, and the only issue with disembarkation we had was that we didn't want to go home. The Navigator of the Seas is considered a smaller ship, but it is still very large with 3500 guests and 1700 staff and it's a very pretty ship. The cabins are a good size and I would never cruise without a balcony, to me a balcony is a little quite place in all the excitement where you can just get away sit back and relax. It doesn't matter where you eat on the ship, the food is fantastic, it really just depends on what your mood is at the moment. The ships entertainment and activities are very good and accommodate everyone from small children to seniors. Finally, you will visit some of the most beautiful countries in the world no matter what Royal Caribbean ship you are on with staff who provide professional and outstanding service. We can't wait for our next adventure. Read Less

Friends were going on an organized cruise for an activity that we enjoyed and wanted to be with them but we had had a bad experience with another cruise line and were reluctant to book passage. We are so glad we did because our enjoyment on this cruise was a definite 10! Food was excellent in preparation and diversity both in the dining hall and cafes. In the dining room service was top notch and the menu had choices to satisfy everyone. I especially liked the fact that we could order favorites daily or have the selections of the day. In the Windjammer it was a treat to have eggs made to order and a wide selection from pancakes and waffles to salmon with capers. The ship provided areas for sunning, deck activities or simply a quite place to read. I made Sushi while on board! Wow! This cruise line is doing all the things right to make you feel like royalty! The shore excursion people were friendly and knowledgeable. The organized getting aboard and debarking made for easy transitions for the passengers on Read Less

we liked the itinerary. food is always great. lots to do or just relax. excursions are expensive so we just walk around when in port.we do not do much shopping but buy a few trinkets in each port.shopping on the ship is also expensive except for the special sales.we prefer a table for2 for dinner but like to talk to other guests in other venues.entertainment on this cruise was not quite as good as on the bigger ships.loved the ice skating show and the singing and dancing! Not so interested in comedy shows so we skipped them.we like to relax on the non smoking outside deck but it was spoiled one day by a woman smoking.she threw her cigarette overboard.although we reported this , no one came to enforce the no smoking rule.overall we loved the cruise experience this being our 5th cruise. we have booked on board a cruise for 2018 and also for 2019. This was the last Caribbean cruise that we haven't done before. All of the others were excellent and knew we couldn't go wrong sailing with RC. Easy getting on the ship and except for a slight delay with customs, easy off. This was our first time in a suite and loved the accommodations. We have booked our next cruise with suite (junior) accommodations already for our Mediterranean cruise. The shore excursions were great. Our jeep excursion in Curaçao was the best! Friendly guides and just an exciting time! We always cruise with RC as we have never been disappointed. No need to try other cruise lines. The Crown and Anchor club is a great way to make you feel like royalty. The more you sail, the more perks you get. It's the little details that make you feel they want to make your cruise special for you such as robes in the cabin and snacks delivered to your cabin as a surprise treat. Well done Royal Caribbean! We cruise every other year and go with a group of friends that ranges from 50 to over 100 guest in total each time. RCI has always met and exceeded our expectations both individually and as a group. The ship was in great condition, clean, well kept, and easy to navigate around. The crew were remarkable and always happy to help. Our cabin steward could not have been any better. Room was always clean and neat every time we walk out of it. The food was very good. A decent variety of food each day but if you like any particular items they would do there best to accommodate your requests. The main dining room service was extremely nice. Both our head waiter and assistant waiter were the best we have ever had. Always helpful and quick. I do feel the quality of the food has gone down from past cruises but that could be so that some guests will opt for the fine dining that cost more money. Read Less

A family member researched and planned the cruise for a family getaway. We arrived at the ship and were able to board. The process was very smooth and organized. . We were informed that lunch was being served in the Windjammer. The variety of food was excellent and it was prepared very well. We reviewed the Compass everyday to plan our activities and there was always several activities that we would attend. Service was excellent, however one family member was not receiving some of the perks that the others were receiving, towel animals. One call and the problem was corrected. We did several shore excursions. All of the excursions were enjoyed and very informative. One family member did book another cruise while onboard. We did notice that some items/furniture on the ship should be cleaned/dusted. The baseboard or ledge above the baseboard in the rooms, customer service desk and other areas of the ship were dusty. Also items that were hanging from the ceiling of the promenade were very dusty. This is a problem for individuals with allergies. Overall the cruise was very enjoyable. Thank you! Read Less

We liked the ship, Navigator of the Seas. We were also on this same ship last year and liked it enough that we chose to take again. We prefer the little smaller ships rather than the mega-ships. The balcony cabin was great and the room steward took care of every need. Don't really like to sail out of Miami, but no real option. The food on board the ship was good and the dining room experience was great. Our waiter and assistant waiter were wonderful. We enjoyed the shore excursions we booked because they offered better excursions at better prices than the cruise line. We traveled with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed rooms next to each other with balconies that our room steward opened so we had all 4 of us together in the evenings just enjoying each other's company and enjoying some refreshments. We enjoyed the ice show on the ship and there was an enrichment series by a retired police officer that we all enjoyed. The entertainment at night was ok, but don't really like comedians that much so didn't go to those shows. We have booked our next year's cruise on the ship, so we'll be ready to cruise again. We chose this cruise as it was an organized dance cruise with several of our friends. We were a group of 100. We had organized dance classes in the conference room. The only problem was dancing on carpet but we all managed. The entertainment was great. The photographers were great at capturing pictures every night. It was a great idea to be able to just buy a digital USB. I purchased the total package and took lots and lots of pictures during the cruise. Loved the piano play on the 4th floor. He drew a large crowd every night he was on. Music and dancing was everywhere. It was hard to get to everything. There was skating, rock climbing, wave rider, miniature golf, basketball, pink pong, a great walking, running track, and a fabulous gym. I didn't go to the Spa but it looked first class. The dining room was beautiful and the service was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. Now back to reality. Read Less

We went on this trip with some other friends that had already booked prior to us booking but it was a great decision for us to go, as we really enjoyed it. Excellent is what I can say about my overall experience. Everything was great from the ship, cabin with a deck, dinning, service, entertainment, activities, ports visited, etc.... It was a 9 night cruise and we would have stayed longer if it would have been possible. You don't get bored as there's always something to do on the boat. The only minor issue that we found is that the pool area's get full quickly when you're on a day at seat. pools and the pool area's could be bigger and have more chairs. The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. we're already talking about booking another trip for next year or the one after. Royal Caribbean on the top of our list when picking another cruise. To anyone who is looking for a cruise line Royal Caribbean is the way to go. I have only been on the Navigator of the Seas but spoke with other passengers who have enjoyed so many other of their cruise ships and destinations. The service, cleanliness and food is wonderful. All the staff are always willing to help or ask if you need any assistance. There is a large variety to do at all times or you can just veg out, the relaxation factor is superior. You also have many options to keep you busy at all times. The food selection is very good and fresh. The ports were all fun with a lot to do. There could have been a better variety in shopping and quick grab snacks in the Windjammer but all around the entire experience was a total success.. I highly recommend Royal Caribbean for anyone including families. Read Less

Had 10 in our family group from 87 year old parents to twenty something nieces and nephews. Every one found something to do that kept us engaged and fulfilled. From the wave machine to the dinner to the shopping - everyone loved it. The staff made you feel like their family. They were truly interested in your experience. Every day a guy in the retail stores would ask us how our day was = What did we do? They all seemed like extended family. We will be back - Oh heard the 5 day Spring break cruise was over the top wild with drunk and disorderly college students so I would stay clear of those dates. For a Spring break with the family - this 9 day cruise on this ship was perfect. We made so many wonderful memories - Again - you feel like the staff was your family and you were coming back home. if you haven't cruised in a while - this ship will make you wonder why you stayed away. I have the Sunburn to prove it!! Swam with dolphins in Cozumel, shopped in Nassau, loved the food, the service, the everything! JEVI was the best waiter and James the best Cabin service of all time!! The Ice dancing show was great, Quest was so fun, I took my bra off!!!! The Belly Flop and sexiest guy competitions were hilarious! The comedian was terrific, the Hair band imitator was awesome! The all inclusive cocktails were magnificent, (but there could have been more bar staff to serve our needs....we waited quite a while for drinks) The 5night seemed the perfect time away. Can't wait to get back on one of these ships!! LOVED IT!!! I'll be Back!! :) Read Less
