Excellent ship for adults, drinks very expensive.

Great choice of food at Windjammer and staff always going the extra mile to make you cruise memorable, good choice of activities but not the best ships if you have children under 4 years old. Returned to ship after 10 years and couldn't believe how much the price of drinks have increased, cheapest bottle of wine $34 going to $330., bottle drinks you are looking at least $8 for a can of ...

Although this was my first ever cruise, I used to work on a six star cruise ship so I know what to expect. The ships Is beautiful, very clean and well laid out. I think the outside decks could have better seating with tables for drinking/eating on nice a evenings as sunbeds are not great if you just want a nice drink and chat. Could also do with a few small extra special touches, perhaps a ...

This cruise was chosen to experience our first cruise from Southampton and first Royal Caribbean cruise. Also the itinerary included a couple of places we had not visited before - Cartagena and Lisbon; there was a last minute change of itinerary due to a problem at Genoa. Also we both had special birthdays this year and a special anniversary while we were away, and decided to celebrate with ...

Cruised about 20 times - 4 or five with Royal C. Check in very quick and onboard by 11.15 Cabin not cleaned properly for the 2 weeks - never hoovered ( same bits on the floor when we arrived, were still there when we left. Shower had hairs from previous customers... Windjammer awful as not enough staff(maybe due to cuts?) so tables not cleared away quickly enough so you had to sit at ...

This cruise really suited us.

We chose this 14 night cruise for the ports of call and it was when we boarded that we realised how happy we were to return to RCI. Everything was enjoyable and the quality of service met our expectations. The staff were happy and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Although there are some negatives below, our enjoyment wasn't spoiled. I hate the upsell on cruises and this one was no exception but ...

First ever cruise and loved every minute of it. Chose this cruise mainly because of Rome, what a fantastic city but enjoyed all the other destinations as well. Could not fault anything about this cruise. The entertainment was good particularly the ice skating show, Queen tribute band and an appearance by Darren Day. The ship's own entertainment team were also very good and put on some excellent ...

Noisy cabin 3628

We chose this cruise on the recommendation of a friend. Cabin 3628 was very stuffy and noisy caused by the ships engine and extractor fan. As this was our first cruise we didn't know what to expect but certainly not hard sell on everything. We didn't have a drinks package and the cost of wine etc was prohibitive. Needless to say those who had a drinks package were drinking from early ...

Another great cruise with Royal Caribbean

We sailed from Southampton which is always convenient for us and we don't mind the Bay of Biscay crossing. After calling at Gibraltar the itinerary was around the Italian Mediterranean and had a pleasing balance of ports of call with days at sea. On some of the ports we had pre-booked Royal Caribbean excursions; the choice of these remains good and although expensive they are competitive and worth ...
