Just came off Carnival Conquest. Been on Carnival quite a few times. Been mostly cruising with Royal but this was a good deal so thought would try it. Ship was supposedly refurbished in 2012. Couldn't prove it by me. Lots of stuff needed painting, seat cushions in Renoir dining room were stained, public bathrooms needed a lot of work. The ship is dark, not light and bright. This was the second Spa Deck cabin we cruised in on the same class of ships. First time was cabin 1104 on the Valor and now 1106 on Conquest. One item worth noting, the staff does not enforce dress code in the main dining room. Our Carnival Conquest Western Caribbean Cruise was absolutely wonderful. Overall the experience was great. The food on the ship was fantastic compared to the (fascination), which I cruised with last year. The ship was good. I just wished the waterslide was better.
