Birthday cruise for my nephew. Alighting and deboarding processes were really efficient. Housekeeping was excellent. Very clean around the ship. The safety checkin was a fiasco because our muster area was blocked by maintenance crews grinding and soldering beams (was the ship broken??). Great food. Drink and coffee bar hosts were spectaclar. Cruise Director rather hokey. Pools crowded and noisy ...
The cruise ship was very nice. My first time on a cruise and will not travel Carnival Conquest ever again, there wasn't to be Marijuana allowed anywhere (but, guests were smoking it EVERYWHERE outside on ALL decks) the smell was so strong, I witnessed ship employees seeing this, nothing was said anyone smoking it.
The last morning, the ship was back at port in early morning before breakfast, ...
Memorial Cruise
CABIN WAS NOT IN ACCEPTABLE CONDITION
Not sure the cabin category I was in balcony. On the ceiling there appeared to what looked like mold......
I complained to cabin steward who notified appropriate personnel. I further complained to Guest Services
They sent someone to investigate two days after the complaint. Unfortunately, the cruise was over by then.
I ...
We had to use a Carnival credit before it expired in September, so we chose a 5 day cruise to Key West and Cozumel. Guy’s hamburger joint was great (first restaurant we ate at), the Steak House was also very good but it is an option over that standard charges. However, I must inform you that the BBQ buffet was horrible and the regular buffet was just ok. Salad, fruits and veggies were fresh. Other ...
We bought a suite for our honeymoon. Arriving to the room, it was disgusting. There was a dirty used razor blade on our floor, a condom wrapper under our bed, there was hair in our bath tub, our robes were dirty, there was makeup on the blankets, and my husband had to sleep above the blankets because they made him itch for some reason. We had them washed and he was able to sleep under the blankets ...
We sailed on the Conquest this week for a 4 night visit to eastern caribbean.
Pros -
Carnival is a fun loving, kid friendly cruiseline. We had kids who enjoyed being at camp ocean. The lobby area had a vintage look but we loved it. The people (attendants, room stewards, dining services and all carnival employees) make carnival a wonderful cruiseline. The restaurants are beautiful (both ...
Been on Carnival cruises a few times and this was a first for Conquest. My least favorite of all Carnival ships. Food was just ok from breakfast to buffet .. not a great selection. And hours of operation for selection were poor. After eleven your only choice was pizza!
However, dinner was great and service was great on the ship throughout!
The ship was clean and the fun staff and cruise ...
The customer service is awful. They were very available before the cruise but very unavailable after the cruise. The bout did not have handicap public bathrooms except in the health club area; If you are handicap, do not use there bus service to the airport. They made us got off the bus @ terminal 33 & our terminal was 11. I am elderly and have a walker; my friend is also disabled. We ended up ...
We had a nice cruise overall. The Conquest can get rowdy, as would be expected from any weekend cruise from Miami. The ship was kept up nicely and our staterooms were clean. We didn't attend any of the shows, so can't really comment on them. The buffet was small and very busy but we were able to make it work. Dinner in the MDR was good and the service was friendly and fast. We liked the movies by ...
Fun cruise with very good service. Ship definitely has seen better days, but they really do a job on trying to keep it up.
Cabin experience was good. Oceanview cabin in midship and on starboard side. Cabin received a fair amount of foot traffic though and often found that most everything required walking to aft or forward stairs/elevators. Overall, it was very clean, with a decent views and ...
