We loved Brilliance of the Seas!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

We much preferred this over the mega ships as we never had to wait in line at the buffets or any of the special little food places. The line at the Guest Services was minimal at most times. The ship was very clean. Room service was always on time and our cabin was always taken very good care of. We had great food choices in our dining room and thought the amount of food given was more than any ...

Where should I start? Our Cruising experience began in Barcelona. We had arrived the night before and explored the morning before departure at 3 PM on the Hop on Hop of Bus/ Barcelona Bus Touristic. This turned out to be informative and scenic. If you can and have time buy the multi circuit ticket as they have 3 areas they tour. A great bonus is that once you are done traveling you can ...

We take our grandchildren for a trip as their high school graduation gift. the mediterranean cruise fit our needs..... It went to the countries and cities that we felt were important for them to see and experience. the ship was great and cabins always clean and neat....the ports and shore excursions were great..........the dining experience was the greatest!!!! The food was the best but the ...

We chose this cruise for our 25th Anniversary trip. This is our second Royal Caribbean cruise. We sailed on Rhapsody out of Galveston once and had a great experience. (We actually saw Rhapsody at one of the ports during this cruise!). We have cruised a lot on NCL, and once on Princess and Holland America. NCL is the best so far in my opinion. We always wanted to cruise the Mediterranean. ...

We selected this cruise ship because of the itinerary and we liked Royal Caribbean and this was our 4th cruise with them since 2013(prior Granduer, Liberty and Allure). We stayed at Hotel Silken Ramblas for 2 days ahead which was excellent. The location was primo and the breakfasts were great. We had their specials in the lounge. The club sandwich and beer and iberian ham, cheese and wine were ...

We felt VERY well treated onboard ship. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and polite and courteous and helpful. The food was extraordinary. We looked forward to every meal whether in the Main Dining Rm or the Windjammer Cafe or at Chops Grille. It was also a luxury to come back to our stateroom to a clean room twice a day. The entertainment was enjoyable; we especially enjoyed ...

Fabulous Holiday

We choose this cruise due to the itinerary visiting places which we had not been to before. Embarkation was ok although the departure terminal was extremely hot. Disembarkation was disappointing - had to leave the ship at 7.15am and our flight back to the UK was not until 6.15 in the evening - had to take baggage to airport which cost us 45 euros to store then went into Barcelona for the day ...

Brilliance of the Seas was a lovely cruise all the way through. We have cruised 15-20 times prior and I thought that the staff were so attentive, kind and friendly to the guests and made it a very personal experience for us. My husband and I arranged a grand suite for the first time that I highly recommend given the amenities and additional service it provided along with the increased cabin ...

Traveling with our adult children and two older teenage grandchildren, my husband and I chose this cruise because of the classic itinerary for the grandchildren's first visit to Europe. Whereas, our vacation together was wonderful, sadly, the ship experience was not. The main dining room displayed spotted, cloudy glassware. Too often, silverware was dirty. Soups were served lukewarm whether ...

We chose this cruise for the ports visited. This was our first cruise and we took this to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Since we didn't have a honeymoon, we settled on this cruise and are very glad we did. Our balcony cabin was on the 9th deck, about mid way back through the ship. Our only big issue was with the ships plumbing which regular clogs/leaks. During our 12 day voyage, the ...
