Carnival Cruise Lines provides good price point for the trip to Alaska. In this case the outside pools and sunshine were secondary to the schedule and the port. Carnival has been steady in its delivery for our family. The food is dependable, But modest in terms of quality. The staff is superb, and yet the rooms were stale and worn. We did get a drink package for the cheers program. Think carefully ...
TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED. I have been on many cruises with different cruiselines and this by far is the worst! The entertainment was terrible, they had a run of music through the decades (which sounds cool) but it was performed by mediocre performers, at best. Their food was not very good either! You expect to go on a cruise and gain weight because of the never ending delicious food buffets, but the ...
We loved our cruise. The ship was beautiful and the men and women did everything in the world to make our trip wonderful. Ira was our room steward and he made us feel so welcome and special. Our waiter and bus boy were great. Joselito and Putra were the best we had ever had. Very friendly and helpful in every way. We went on a gold mining tour and it was so interesting . We also panned for ...
We were on the Legend from July 19th - July 26th, 2016 as part of a large group (89 people with over 40 cabins). This was our first cruise. Some items that come to mind are below.
We were in Cabin 6204 on the port side of the ship. It had an "adjoining door" to the next cabin but we didn't know the people next door. I believe that allowed more noise from that cabin than we would have heard ...
This was our 20th cruise. Previously we have cruises with Carnival, Celebrity, RCL and NCL. We were traveling with another couple that had never cruised so we selected this primarily based on cost.
The Legend is an older ship but overall in good shape. Staff was friendly and helpful but to be fair we are pretty low maintenance. One problem with a ship this size is there are no large public ...
We chose this particular sailing and itinerary for the price. We have previously sailed to Alaska on RC Vision of the Seas and Celebrity Infinity. My husband is ill and rather than wait until 2020 for a planned family cruise our doctor advised us to cruise now while he is feeling okay.
His brother and sister-in-law were in one balcony cabin and we were in 6182, a handicapped accessible cabin. ...
Going out of Seattle was the easies I have been only problem I had I sign up for the meet and greet got an e-mail saying that one would be held and I need to look at my fun times to find out when and where it would be held I look everyday and nothing was ever posted. I was totally disappoint because I was so looking forward to going. Did it ruin my cruise of course not will it stop me from ...
This is a looonnnggg review. I like the reviews that give lots of details that help me plan my vacation so I share a lot! After reading many reviews about this ship from people that loved this cruise as well as people who were unhappy with this cruise I was a bit worried but I was pleasantly surprised!
After spending a few days exploring Seattle for the first time, we headed to dock 91 to ...
We had a reunion scheduled in Seattle, so we decided to follow that up by taking our two young grandsons on a cruise to Alaska. We chose the Carnival cruise because it was nearest to the reunion. Although I had cruised one time before on Carnival, I hoped my poor experience would not be repeated. Wrong!
I requested early dining, and instead received the latest time - poor choice for two young ...
This was our third cruise, but our first with Carnival.
Good value on a lovely ship. Fantastic entertainment with the cruise director 'Jen' with the energy of the Energiser Bunny! Food was delicious and plentiful. We chose 'anytime dining' in Truffles which worked well for us. Had room service one morning which was also prompt although the fresh fruit served was a little battered. Cabin was ...
