Chose this cruise because of the ports. Great itinerary, really enjoyed many of those ports which were new for me. A bit of confusion as to boarding time. We had a boarding time of 3 pm, but turns out we could have boarded the ship earlier around 11, which was a bit of a disappointment, as we had to check out of where we were staying at 11, with nothing to do.
We did not attend many of the ...
had a great time. ship was beautiful. food was above average. would like to have a few more options for meals on a 10 night cruise but other than that another great trip. entertainement could be improved as well. other than that service was up to par especially our crew they took the time to help us get situated and each night at dinner we were treated to very courtesy staff that walked us through ...
We are experienced cruisers wanting to get away from Boston and see some Caribbean sunshine.
We arrived a bit late and found embarkation as a walk through. Disembarking was just as easy. We booked a trip to Bacardi distillery and loved the trip including a free drink or two.
We booked a veranda class room. There was a huge price drop so I called to ask for an upgrade. We were given Concierge ...
So this was my third cruise with Celebrity and first time on the M-Class Ships. This was also my first time leaving from San Juan .
We arrived from Montreal days prior to our departure as we have never been to San Juan. We stayed at an Air Bnb and everything was pretty good in our area. Found the locals very nice.
the embarkation process was very smooth and quick. we are arrived at around ...
My husband & I have cruised with Celebrity many times and on the Summit once before. We always love sailing with Celebrity, they have great service, friendly staff & awesome food.
We don't particularly like the "music & dancing" type entertainment, and most of the shows were that type this time. We only went to the comedians, but we really did like them. Captain Kate and all of her staff ...
So this was our first cruise on Celebrity cruises, but we've previously sailed on NCL, Carnival. Princess. Holland America Line, Costa, MSC and Royal Caribbean.
Overall it was a fantastic cruise! Great ship, food, staff and islands.
We had 3 port changes due to hurricane/port issues - St Maarten (replaced with St Kitts), Dominca (replaced with Martinique) and St Lucia (replaced with ...
Just returning from a week on Celebrity Summit out of San Juan. Transfers to and from airport were very easy and quick. We took a taxi to the ship ($24) and free bus shuttles were provided by Celebrity from the port to the airport. The hurricane damage was not apparent and caused no problems getting to the ship.
Captain Kate and the Summit are excellent. She is more visible and communicates ...
This cruise turned into a solo cruise at the last minute, and although I tried to make the most of it I discovered you do get treated differently--Celebrity does not do solo very well.
This was my 4th time on Summit, and as usual enjoyed a balcony cabin. The room is really spacious for one person! I didn't even use all the clever storage cubbies. The bathroom stank like a well-used locker ...
We really like Captain Kate...she understands how to engage passengers and create a really wonderful atmosphere on board (that permeates to all).
While the ship has been refurbished, not all the cabins have been updated. Our Celebrity Suite had to have the caulking around the tub replaced.
Loved the Suite restaurant and staff. Charles, the Maitre d' and O'Neill our waiter were terrific. ...

I little bit about us. It will help you understand our point of view on our wonderful cruise.
