I actually won this cruise in a sweepstakes giveaway. The ship was very well maintained and clean. All ship staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. Decor of the ship wasn't very good. We chose the cruise based on: 1) timing (before OSHER classes resume), 2) # of nights -- we wanted more than three days but didn't need the full seven days in the Caribbean), 3) location (someplace warm), 4) geared toward adults, 5) other reviews (mostly great), and 6) price (very reasonable).

first i will say that the staff and employees wherever we went were fabulous. My family upgraded to the premium package; unfortunately, nothing was available. Premium orange juice, Evian water, and Arizona Ice Tea were not available the entire cruise. Aqua Panna was available during dinner, (01 bottle) but unavailable during our stay. At one point in time the private bar advised me that area where this water was stored was closed.

We had some credits to use and since we are now in Florida decided to take a short cruise out of Miami. The Summit is an older ship and it shows but is still maintained well. We chose this cruise primarily because the Sail dates fit our time frame.
We booked a Sky Suite which to me was not (our first time on Celebrity) much bigger than a standard Verandah room on Norwegian and Holland America. But it was well appointed and didn't feel too cramped.

Just back from our cruise on the Celebrity Summit. The service was fantastic! My husband and I have cruised many times. Our friends who came with us had never cruised before. They loved it too.
The ship was only at about 1/3 capacity so it never felt crowded which was great.
The ship is beautiful. Our cabin steward did a great job and provided twice daily service.
