We chose this cruise because of its South American Ports. We enjoyed each port opting to hire a driver to take us around those ports we had not visited before. Our cabin was a good size with more than enough storage. First few days the air conditioning unit in our cabin sounded like a jet engine. Once reported it was repaired right away. Our cabin steward was great (thank goodness). ...
My wife and I took the 15-day cruise on December 9 from Fort Lauderdale to Cartagena, Colombia; the Panama Canal; Manta, Ecuador; Lima, Peru; and Arica, Chile. It concluded December 24 in Valparaiso, Chile. We have traveled other Celebrity vessels, but the Infinity proved a comparative disappointment.
To begin with, there were necessarily nine days at sea. Many travelers filled the time ...
Third Celebrity cruise (NZ andOz, Med) but first on Millennium class ship. Infinity is 15 years old, and needs some TLC. Externally looks tired, facilities good and similar to solstice class, staff excellent as always. Exception being the perfumed garden which is in an internal area, no soothing views, and noise from deck above intrusive to the intended serene atmosphere.
Trips expensive via ...
This was our 3rd cruise, but 1st on Celebrity; it's now our favorite line. The food was very very good, above expectations. There is a high ratio of crew to guests and they really do take excellent care of you. Our waiter/assistant waiter in the dining room had only 3 tables to take care of, for example, and the room steward had only 10 rooms. The staff all seem very happy to be doing what they're ...
My family of 4 decided to take this 16 day cruise to the Panama Canal mostly to show the kids a part of history (it was also a great excuse to take a 2 week cruise for Thanksgiving to relax and avoid family drama!!).
This was our first Celebrity Cruise, and we were expecting to be treated list celebrities. It wasn't what we expected, and the cruise started off a little rough, but after the ...

We chose this ship for the Panama Canal and traveled with family (four adults and two children ages 6 an 11). We were able to have two adult rooms next to one another and the boys' room right across the hall. There were only 12 children on board but the Fun Factory did an amazing job with both boys despite the age differences. There were several kids and parent (and/or ...
We originally did this cruise back in 2014 on the Century and had a wonderful time. My next door neighbor Tom wanted to go on a cruise with his lady friend and asked us where they should go so we did some various choices and he picked the Panama Canal and they wanted us to show them the ropes.
Our flight was on time the day of the cruise and we were able to board early enough to grab a bite to ...
We arrived in San Diego a couple of days before the cruise to explore the city by Hop on/off bus which we have found to be the most economical and fun way to see a city. We stayed at the Horton Grand Hotel which we found comfortable and central to our needs. The marina was a short 15 minute drive arriving at 11:30 am. We were checked in and on board in another 20 minutes. Aqua class gave us a ...
We chose this cruise to see again the Panama Canal. The on-board commentator, Bill Fall (if I remember his name correctly) was fabulous. His knowledge of every single detail of the canal is awesome!
The canal itself is a wonder to behold. To imagine such a feat being accomplished over 100 years ago is amazing.
The activity staff was terrific...went out of their way to keep us busy!

Loved everything about this cruise. The staff on the Infinity was top notch. Food was amazing. Our favorite restaurant to eat at was Qsine. Food was D'lish. The concept was fun and quirky. The Staff was amazing.
Another Restaurant we loved was Blu. It's is a Restaurant that is exclusive to AquaClass rooms. Its was a specialty restaurant, but never had to make reservations and was free. Food and ...
