The cruise was average. We had great service in the dining room in the evening. The entertainment was ok. There was a comedian that was good (with puppets). and the ice show was excellent.
When I had lunch in the dining room I ordered hot tea. Each time, the tea never came. Thankfully my dinner waiter stopped over to ask how the service was and if he could get me anything. Otherwise, I'd ...
I had never traveled on a Royal ship in the past so this was my first. The ship was nice with many bells and whistles I had not experienced in the past. I did not like that the Windjammer had restricted hours of service as I have pretty much been used to on other cruises. I was not crazy about the shows on the Adventure, but Mercedes and Isaac were fantastic. I was really hoping for a WOW ...
We liked the 8 night cruise instead of 7. The embarkation was probably the best we have experienced in many, many cruises. There were 300 Diamond Members and 200 Diamond Plus Members - all stuffed into the lounge and spilling out into the Viking Crown Lounge.
Luggage was delivered in ample time to unpack before muster.
We are Diamond Plus with over 300 nights on Royal. However, We did ...
We chose this Cruise because it Departed from a port near us, was reasonable and we frequently sail with Royal Caribbean. We really liked the Voyager Class ships due and larger due to the smooth sailing and amenities. We always enjoy the Promenade with its shops and cafe'. The staff was very friendly and eager to please, which always makes for a happy cruise. The only comment on the Ship itself is ...
We did this cruise with friends on their first cruise. Quite the experience. First the good: we were in 6640, balcony cabin. Embarkation was quick easy and painless! It was very nice, good location and the bed was great. We didn't mind the lower half of balcony obstructed. The promenade deck was just below us with all the fun stuff and coffee shop! The staff were polite and friendly for the ...
This was my least favorite RCL cruise. It was full of 500 children.Loud and noisy passengers also. The Serenity area was not quiet or serene. The hot tub was a cespool of drinkers and party types.I thought a cruise right after Thanksgiving would be quiet. How wrong I was.The front desk said it would be like that all December. My Diamond status was all screwed up.Card had issues getting my 3 drinks ...
My family chose the cruise line and I'm glad they did. Adventure is a wonderful ship and has a great host of activities to take part in. The ports were exciting and I got to see things I had only had dreams of. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything in the world. The food was really good and there were so many choices along with a variety of good drinks. Our cruise director and activities ...
We chose this cruise for the timing, between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Although we are veteran cruisers we had never sailed RCCL. The overall cruise was good (what's not to like on a cruise?). We found the staff generally friendly and accommodating. The main dining room provided surprisingly good food with superior service from our waiter, Joel, his assistant, Igety(sp?) and Amit, our section ...
We chose this cruise because it occurred after hurricane season and it was presented to us as a ship that had recently been renovated. The ship was clean and the staff very friendly although not very knowledgeable of the ship's functions. When we would ask informational questions the answers that were given were incorrect. Their offer was that you did not need to purchase the internet to use ...
Wanted to go to eastern Caribbean for daughters birthday we had the perfect cabin 1814 panoramic view on the 12 th deck our attendant was ok but not the wow attendants we have had in the past think he hated his job the casino was horrible constantly changing dealers got worse attitudes every time the most dismal part of the cruise was the MDR while the wait staff was great the food was inedible ...
