Caribbean Anniversary Trip

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We chose this cruise because we had never been to the Caribbean before and we wanted to see as much as we could. It had a very busy itinerary with 6 ports. And we thought based on reading reviews that Royal Caribbean would be a good fit for us as first time cruisers. The dining experiences at the signature dining restaurants (Giovanni's and Chops) were fantastic! Very quiet and intimate and so ...

We picked this cruise for the 5 ports and only one at sea day. We started in SAN Juan as we wanted to be in the heat immediately. Although the ship is showing its age in some areas, overall it was clean, well maintained and the crew and staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The dining room service was excellent, windjammer was easy to navigate and the food was what we expected as we had ...

I haven't sailed with Royal Caribbean in a number of years and was anxious to try one of their newer ships, Adventure of the Seas. I had not been to 3 of the 4 destinations before and that was a factor in choosing this particular sailing from April 7-14, 2018. I had not been to St. Kitts before and was excited to check out the best possibilities for excursions that would interest me. I found ...

Overall this trip may have been my favorite cruise on Royal Caribbean. One thing I really liked is that we went down to San Juan a day before our ship left to get a full day 1 of our cruise. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and had good service. The next morning at 11:00 we left our hotel and got an Uber. You can not get on the ship before 12:00. Because we are Emerald members we got to skip the big ...

Not what I was expecting from RC

I hope that this experience is not an indication of the standard service that the Royal Caribbean brand will now be providing. Check in was a nightmare. New policies about who can and can't check in are in effect and not communicated. If traveling with a minor in a separate cabin if they do not ajoin and the adult in the room with the minor has not checked in, you have to wait until they do ...

This was the first cruise I went on with my daughter. Now all she speaks about is this cruise and asking when can we go again. When we checked in at the port it was quick and easy. The service provided by the crew was excellent. The cabin was smelling fresh and attendant cleaned it multiple times a day. It was just a beautiful and fun-filled activity cruise. My daughter enjoyed all the kids' ...

Great itinerary out of Puerto Rico.

We enjoyed Puerto Rico both before and after the cruise. The embarkation and disembarkation went well. However, if you have family members who need Wheel chair assistance, be prepared for long waits; one at a time, on and off the ship. The ports were beautiful, especially Aruba. The tours were not really worth it if you primarily wanted to go to the beaches. You can either take a cab or water taxi ...

Initially recommended by to me by a friend, they made us aware of Royal Caribbean and the great selection of cruises available. The overall cruise experience superseded my expectations. The destinations were a great selection of Caribbean islands to visit. The onboard entertainment and organised events like the ice skating shows and musicals were fantastically organised and choreographed, the ...

You Have Got to be Kidding or I Guess It's Better than Being at Work?

Wow, the phrase: "You Have Got to be Kidding" came out a lot. This was our first RC cruise and didn't know what to expect. For starters, the RC website was cumbersome to use, having to log in multiple times on one session was annoying. I uploaded id photos a number of times and looks like they finally were accepted, only to have our pictures taken again at check-in. We really liked the ...
