8-night Eastern Caribbean

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We chose this cruise because it occurred after hurricane season and it was presented to us as a ship that had recently been renovated. The ship was clean and the staff very friendly although not very knowledgeable of the ship's functions. When we would ask informational questions the answers that were given were incorrect. Their offer was that you did not need to purchase the internet to use ...

My wife and I are diamond members of RCI, with over 128 nights of cruising on RCI. I purchased this cruise a year ago, the price was good, and we had not cruised on this ship before so we bit. We were Royal fans but the fun is wearing off and cruising with Royal is becoming just average. The things that attract us to cruising is 1. Price, 2. dance venues, 3 the service and food and of course ...

Royal Caribbean delivers with this ship / itinerary and crew! First: Myths from other reviews I have read: 1) Elevators - All were in service for this trip, yes there was some waiting at peak traffic times. Our Trip Embarkation at Fort Lauderdale was seamless. From curbside to Windjammer in roughly 20 minutes. We did as much online registration as we could before arrival (including ...

Adventure of the Seas some good some bad

We always arrive the night before so that no worries about cruising. Several hotels offer parking with $20 per person for a shuttle to and from the cruise port. The boarding process in Ft Lauderdale was well organized with friendly receptionists. A new twist is your room card is not handed out at check in, it is in an envelope outside your room. The cabin stewards were extremely nice and helpful. ...

What if Jamaican beach hawkers ran a cruise ship?

Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth in spite of security delays by incompetent port and customs personnel, that anyone feels more secure by this grandstanding is amazing. The ship was well maintained, but the decor and furnishings looked dated. Activities ran the standard, but things like the rock wall, ice skating, surf rider and water slides were severely time restricted. Bar service ...

We took this cruise because of price. We live in Florida and are Diamonds with Royal Caribbean. Usually cruise on the bigger ships so not sure how Adventure rates among ships that size. Sometimes internet did not work or was very slow. I work online so this was important. If I had known this I would not have taken this cruise. After missing a lot of work we were also not offered any refund on ...

Very Good, Not Great

My wife and I have cruised 12 times on Royal, and this one was very good, but not the best. We had a mini suite and it was wonderful, spacious, and nicely laid out. My wife loves the animal towels and see was not disappointed. We have cruised on Adventure several times and the wear and tear is beginning to show. The Captain and his team were engaging, but the Cruise Director was not one of our ...

Worst Cruise Trip Ever

STAFF Many of the staff unfriendly, and not helpful or not willing to help. Never answered phones when calling because of long lines at the customer service desk. I have never seem so many employees not willing or able to make a simple decision. I am not a needy person. I own a business and thought about if this was my business. Except for the states room personnel, all employees; food, ...

For a first time we found great interest on this ship due to all it offered which met our expectations and more. The cabin we had gave a panoramic view where we were able to see the water up front and personal, great view at night. The ship was spectacular and able to walk to the helipad area was a great experience. I even walked there at night and was able to stargaze. (If it was to ...
