We chose this cruise mostly based on itinerary as we have sailed the Caribbean many times but have never been to St Croix or Tortola. Despite the heading saying this was a 5 day it was a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. This was our second cruise on the Adventure, the last one being about 6 1/2 years ago. The cruise itself we found to be quite boring. Most things are surrounded around childen and ...
We did a 7 night cruise to the USVI, BVI, and Bahamas. The ship overall does need to be updated but does have a lot of amenities. The staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. The buffet food was just ok but Chops and Giovanni’s restaurant were good! On our floor deck 8.. there were a lot of kids running through the halls and slamming doors constantly. I did notify our state room attendant and ...
Royal Caribbean stateroom and dining options were a disappointment. We had a balcony room, the balcony was full of sandblasting dust on the chairs and table. The interior sofa was heavily soiled with stains and the carpet was dirty with red juice or wine stains. The wood cabinetry was grimy and sticky. RC should spend more time updating the interior of staterooms instead of building bigger boats. ...
We traveled with our family-2 kids under 10 and 2 adults. The ship was dated (stains on lounge seats, theater chairs, etc. The main hall of this ship was very congested on floor 5 and it did not feel like a grand cruise. The pool was crowded and by the end of the days at sea- green/discolored from all of the use. We couldn’t get off the ship fast enough. Another problem is that the nightly ...
The Adventure of the Seas is a good choice for destinations, but limited sea days. Affordable for couples trip. We booked a Junior suite and it was wonderful with lots of space and cabin steward was great. He was attentive without being obtrusive. The Main dining room food and staff was very good with theme nights. Windjammers food was very good, without overcrowded atmosphere. Food was never ...
Embarkation was a breeze and we were able to make our mandatory muster station visit upon boarding.
We chose this sailing for the 9 night itinerary with 5 ports. St. Thomas was cancelled because of medical emergency with a diversion to Nassau, but that happens and we wish the patient well. We were Impressed with how quickly the port taxes and shore excursion refunds appeared in our online ...
As a long time RCCL cruiser this is our third time on this ship. We figured we couldn’t go wrong since the other times were great. It all started with our Anniversary package not being in our room. The very cheapest of decorations were up, but no champagne or strawberries. We were told it to wait until the end of the night and it “should” show up. By the next morning we made our first trip to the ...
I chose this cruise because I wanted a short one from Galveston, TX. The ship is clean and the staff is very friendly, but the ship has seen better days.
We had a Grand Suite which is very comfortable because of its size and closet space, but the chairs in the balcony were stained, the railing had so many scratches that it look dirty and extremely old.
One thing I liked and found ...
I chose this cruise mainly because the dates fell within the kids' spring break week. I wanted to introduce the grandsons to cruising, and my daughter and her husband were happy to take another one. The Perfect Storm and Flow Rider were favorites, along with the ice rink (they are hockey players). The staff was superb, although the food on my 2022 and 2023 RCCL cruises were definitely not at ...
My husband and I wanted take our children (ages 7 & 6) on their first cruise. So we selected a little 4 night weekend getaway. The ship was nice, my children loved the waterslides and the surfing pool. The food was good in the main dining, but we agreed that we didn't care for the open time seating. It always felt like chaos and we felt rushed once we got to our table. I would recommend that you ...
