This was our first cruise in a suite. The experience was amazing. Check in took less than 15 minutes. Our suite was amazing. More storage space than we needed. Bathroom was huge. Balcony was twice the size of a standard balcony. Bobby, our stateroom attendant was very efficient and always greeted us wherever he saw us. Concierge lounge was perfect for pre-dinner cocktails and snacks. Ryno was ...

ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE - ADVENTURE OF THE SEAS REVIEW (CARIBBEAN CRUISE - APRIL 2016) In early April 2016 my wife and I took 7 days Caribbean Cruise with Royal Caribbean International. This was our 4th cruise in 5 years (2nd with Royal Caribbean). Our ship was Adventure of the Seas - which is rather old ship in the fleet. To note, in 2001 i cruised with Royal Caribbean on the same exact ship, ...

Adventure of the Seas was NOT what some people had described it like.

First, I want to say that I had read several reviews about the AOTS ship. There were some that "complained" and said they people were not friendly. Welllllllll, I don't know who you talked to, or were around, but from our room steward, Pursers Desk, Photo area, Windjammer, attendants cleaning other rooms, cleaning bathrooms, etc., EVERYONE was friendly when I walked by, whether I spoke to them ...

First of all I want to start by saying that so far 1 out of More than 3000 people have written a review of the adventure of the sea during the time time I cruised so you really have to take each review with a huge gain of salt ! You end up only reading about a few people's experience and not the thousands of other peoples experience ! I'm going to try to be very honest and open minded to every ...

These cruise was so, so, entertainment was not very good, room service was great, food was average in the dining room, in the buffet it was institutional grade, they cheapened the quality, paid $8 per day for soft drinks, had to search out a bartender to get a drink, stand in line to get a drink, and these were soda's. Ask the bartender, what happened to the soda machines, was told it was too ...

One of my worst cruises.

We booked our cruise exactly a year before we sailed, getting us $200 onboard credit as advertised (or so we thought). We got connecting balcony cabins (we traveled with two kids and two adults) on the eighth floor and requested the 8:30 dining and a table for 4 at the time of booking. We also bought beverage package for ourselves. Online check-in gave us a hard time because we had two separate ...

Yes, Adventure of the Seas is a smaller ship. Yes, it shows some age. Yes, We would go again. After reading recent reviews prior to boarding our ship, I was a little nervous that I had made the right decision. I did. We had a wonderful time. Check in was easy and no wait at 12:00 and walked right on the ship. Cabin: We had 3 cabins and the very best cabin stewart, Frankie. Our ...

We have sailed on RC before, but not with two kids and not on this itinerary. It turned out to be the perfect week-long getaway, we added a couple days each end in San Juan as well. The ports were awesome--each beach was more beautiful than the next. As for the ship, I too was pleasantly surprised after reading some negative reviews, and when I mentioned these to fellow passengers they were ...

Overall we were happy with the cruise... not sure we would do this again for personal reasons, but overall satisfied. Embarkation was very smooth. Got to the port at 11:30 and was on ship within 20 minutes. Even though our 5 reservations were linked, they did not place us together for dinner. We quickly got that resolved however. They have done a decent job with the upkeep of the ship. ...

Loyal RCCL customer who really enjoys the suite class of rooms and really making the most of our cruising experience. Unfortunately, this time around, it just missed the mark. We booked this cruise back in October and sadly, the only suites available were the Junior Suites so that meant concierge service was no longer available (it was a "last minute" group decision to take this trip) but that ...
