I choose this cruise because of the destinations. I did realized that it was an older ship at first and was a little skeptical. However, when I got on board I see that it was newly renovated. The only thing I didn't like was that my OceanView room was small for my wife and 2 young kids but but is perfect for just a couple. The ports were San Juan, St Maarten, Bonaire, Aruba and Curacao. I enjoyed ...
This cruise was not the experience that I had when we sailed on the RC Oasis. This ship appears old and out of date. We had multiple issues while on board ranging from rude staff members, carrying garbage on guest elevators, and not a lot of planned activities for teens.
I will mention that some of our staff were friendly and helpful, but the overall feel was that this was a training ship that ...
Cruising is my favorite type of vacation. I've tried several different cruise lines, and although I've had similar level of service on pretty much all of them, the entertainment on Adventures of the Seas from the Royal Caribbean cruise line was by far superior to anything I've experienced to date. The singers and dancers were superb, the Ice Arena show was amazing, especially considering that ice ...
This was my first experience with Royal Caribbean. The ship is older and in need of some improvements/updating in the cabins and common areas. But, that did not affect our cruise. My husband and I had a great time. There were a few instances of rude bartenders. But, for the most part the service was excellent, especially in relation to my special dietary needs. The waiters and chefs went above and ...
Over all it was a great expierence. Did have issues at checkin. As suite guests we were taken to our sitting area to wait to board. All others just stood there and when the door opened they all converged. We usuall have a staff with us to excort us on but did not find really any crusie staff there with the exception of the check in staff. Room was a little musty. had to have it sprayed but ...
This was our first cruise on Royal Caribbean. We absolutely LOVED it !! The ship was HUGE and so beautiful. There were so many activities and shows offered if you wanted to constantly be doing something. Or many areas to go to just relax and chill out. The shows were great and very entertaining. The staff was exceptional! The food was great! The ship was very clean as well as our ...
Wanted to sail out of San Juan and see the area before getting on the ship. Excellent island stops. Great snorkeling, Beautiful beaches. My only other cruise was on the Freedom of the Seas in 2013. This ship is a little smaller but did not feel crowded. Too many things to do and not enough time to do it all.
Windjammer food was good for breakfast and lunch but it was mostly the same from day ...
We went on this cruise because of the itinerary. The ABC islands are the best of the southern islands. Nice beaches, many dive and snorkeling sites, wind surfing and clean. San Juan unfortunately is having some turmoil with their debt problems, high cost of living etc. Arrived the day before the cruise and there were demonstrations going on in Old San Juan. Decided not to go to old San juan like ...
We have cruised to the Eastern and Western Caribbean and wanted to travel to the Southern Islands. Awesome!
Departed from Chicago and sailed from San Juan. This is our 2nd cruise with Royal Caribbean and have nothing but good things to say about it. It was a wonderful experience from the time we boarded. Boarding and off boarding went very smooth and quickly. The ship is amazing top to bottom. ...
We chose this cruise based on the ports of call. The "ABC" islands - Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao were new to us. We took tours of the islands by open-air jeeps, open-air bus, and ATV's. They were all a great way to get a feel of the islands. We particularly enjoyed the Aruba tour, getting to see flamingos and the salt flats. Swimming with the dolphins on Anguilla (St. Maarten) was a lifelong dream. ...
