I choose this cruise because of the destinations. I did realized that it was an older ship at first and was a little skeptical. However, when I got on board I see that it was newly renovated. The only thing I didn't like was that my OceanView room was small for my wife and 2 young kids but but is perfect for just a couple. The ports were San Juan, St Maarten, Bonaire, Aruba and Curacao. This cruise was not the experience that I had when we sailed on the RC Oasis. This ship appears old and out of date. We had multiple issues while on board ranging from rude staff members, carrying garbage on guest elevators, and not a lot of planned activities for teens.

All others just stood there and when the door opened they all converged. Wanted to sail out of San Juan and see the area before getting on the ship. Excellent island stops. Great snorkeling, Beautiful beaches. My only other cruise was on the Freedom of the Seas in 2013. We chose this cruise based on the ports of call. The "ABC" islands - Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao were new to us. We took tours of the islands by open-air jeeps, open-air bus, and ATV's.
