Some deterioration in quality that we normally experience from Royal Caribbean

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and because we were one cruise away from becoming Diamond level. We have cruised from Puerto Rico before and enjoy visiting San Juan. We were happy to see so many Puerto Ricans were able to join us on the cruise and enjoy themselves after what they have been through with the hurricanes this fall. All in all, we were satisfied with the cruise and I ...

We chose this trip mostly for the itinerary, but also because we were following it with a second trip, with the rest of the family, on the Jewel of the Seas, which was just returning to San Juan. Our week on the Adventure was, to put it simply, smooth sailing. From boarding, to our stateroom attendant, to restaurant waitstaff, to the front desk personnel, it was a no-complaint trip. I rarely ...

Had enjoyed previous cruise on RC, so we went back to that line this trip. This trip, the ship was crowded and loud all the time. Loud music played constantly on the main outside deck (11), hard to find any peace and quiet on deck. Reminded us of a Carnival party cruise. RC seems to have added smoking areas on the ship, and don't enforce their no smoking policies in other areas on deck. ...

Chose this cruise over a year ago because of the itinerary - which was slightly changed due to the hurricanes. This was fine - and not a factor in my review. We were early to embark, had the 12:30 slot. It was raining and the process was not organized. Wet luggage delivered at 9pm - including the contents. I assumed that the luggage was kept under cover, but apparently not. This was ...

Food was not good

Concierge service was nice, especially the free alcohol at at happy hour. The attendants were nice and friendly. The food in the main dining room and the Windjammer was bland and tasteless. It was very disappointing. The staff throughout were nice, not great, but maybe I expect too much having been on many cruises now. The ports of call were good and the weather was great. The cabin ...

I choose this cruise to complete the tour of the carribean islands. I have done several western and eastern cruises. I did the Aruba, curaçao and Bonaire southern Caribbean cruises last year and this time I wanted to see the island of the south east Carribean. We were apprehensive of San Juan. They have had so much destruction following Hurricanes Irma and Maria. However this part of the ...

Although we have seen all the ports, we relaxed and had a wonderful time. We took a suite this time, and felt very pampered. Thank you to Giddy and Steve in the suites lounge, as well as Keisha, our room attendant. Food was excellent, as well as the treats in our cabin. We visited the Batik factory in St. Kitts, Reduit beach in St. Lucia, the Boatyard in Barbados, Valley Church beach in ...

I choose this cruise to experience different islands. This ship is my 2nd time onboard. The ship is starting to show its age. Almost all of the staff were friendly except for the stateroom attendant. She was a debbie downer, constantly rushing us in our room to get out. she would not even acknowledge us or say hello ,good morning or anything other than how long will you be in our room. moving on ...

Above and beyond our expectations! Royal Caribbean adventure of the seas did an amazing job on our last cruise 11/04/17 !! We like to cruise in Nov and wanted to visit the Southern Caribbean. We had to change a few excursions due to the Hurricane. But everything worked out just fine! The only complaint I have is that the shows were not the best, okay but nothing great! Lots of other things to ...

Busy itinerary but a great time

We chose this cruise for the ports of call. It is a southern Caribbean itinerary going to some islands we had not been to before. We looked forward to going back to St. Maarten, but unfortunately were not able to because of the hurricane damage. Royal Caribbean did a great job of communicating changes in itinerary and waited long enough to make a decision before changing something too soon, but ...
