We took this cruise as part of a specific group, so neither the ship nor the itinerary was our choice. That said, we had a good time overall and give Royal Caribbean an A- for the experience.
The Ship: The ship is older than most we sail, and it’s age shows. Colors/decoration are dated. The ship has been updated, but with heavy use it is in need of some tweaks. Carpets are worn, furniture ...
We took this cruise with a large church group. We have been on 7 cruises, all with Royal Caribbean, but this was our first trip on this ship. We really enjoyed this ship since it is similar to Independence of the seas that we were on last year. We were amazed with how large our room and balcony (jr suite 1100) were. We were concerned with the location of the room since it is right next to the ...
We went with a large charter group on the Adventure of the Seas in February. I decided to try one of the new panoramic staterooms that was added during drydock in February 2018. We switched from a balcony room to this room type and we were not disappointed. The view was perfect and I could enjoy it right from the bed or chair. I was concerned about getting sick from the motion on the front of the ...
We vacationed on Adventure of the Seas as part of a Make A Wish experience and what an experience we had. The crew and the ship were nothing short of fantastic. My wife and I had been fortunate enough to go on 4 previous cruises and never had brought our 3 children. We are so happy that we were able to and that our kids were able to experience the Caribbean. Our handicapped son was also able ...
50 year reunion of the Dupont High school Belle WV Embarkation and disembarking was very smooth although a long walk for each. Ship was very clean but hallways were quite narrow. problematic when stewart carts were in hall and room service trays left in hall. the were kicked several time by our party of four while walking the halls to public areas. Dining was much improved over the oasis of the ...
Ship:
Perfectly sized, not too crowded, not too big, not too small, wonderful water slides on the top deck which are great for kids, the slides have clear walls that pass over the ocean outside of the ship's bounds, very exciting. Pools seemed big enough for kids. During the trip there was some wonderful live African or Caribbean music on the top deck and on the Promenade, however there was ...
We chose this cruise as a vacation/birthday celebration with my husband's family, 6 of us in all. Cruising as a vacation with family is great as you have the option to spend time together or venture off separately, and all gather together for a lovely dinner in the evening where no one is responsible for the meal planning or kitchen clean-up!
This was our first time on the Adventure, but we ...
We chose this trip as first part of a back to back on Adventure. Pleased with the size of the ship, the layout and our balcony cabin on the hump, deck 8. Perfect place between decks five and eleven where all the action takes place.
Not crazy about the production shows apart from the ice show which was great. Nor the headliners shows apart from David Naster who is always very entertaining. ...
Everything was seamless- the boat was easy to navigate, crew went above an beyond to ensure a great experience. Our inside stateroom was perfect for the two of us... many storage compartments and beds and pillows were super comfortable. Many activities for teens. Entertainment was either very good or disappointing but the parties and outdoor movies were great. Food was delicious in both dining ...
We really enjoyed our 7 day cruise.
It was very pleasant and relaxing. Embarkation was quick and easy but should not come before 12 noon cause previous week's cruisers are getting off as we get on. Ship is lovely, especially Royal Promenade and Blue Moon Lodge. Food was absolutely delicious in both Main dining room and Windjammer Cafe Buffet. And Royal Promenade has snacks and tea, coffee, ...
