I was looking to do a cruise trip and found the availability to do it on July 15. It was an excellent experience, specially the visit to Barbados. The tour on Harrington Caves is by much our best experience in all the tours we did during the week. During our stop at St. Kitts we have the opportunity to drink the best coffee of the trip. Our worst tour was in Antigua. The driver we choose to give ...

For many years my family has been trying to plan a cruise, thanks to Royal caribbean it finally happened, and not only happened but was awesome. Our experience is one we will be sharing among ourselves and other family members for many years to come. I had the opportunity to take my 84year old mother with us and once again thanks to you she is still talking about the experience. Im currently ...

Loved Cruising on the Adventures of the Seas!

I chose this cruise b/c of the port departure location- Puerto Rico and for the 6 port island itinerary in the Southern/Eastern Caribbean. My last cruise was about 15 years ago visiting some of the very same islands. This was a Girl's Trip for me. I vacationed with my sister and young daughter. The cruise was amazing. Since my last cruise there have been some great improvements. The airport/cruise ...

Some Good, Some Not So Good

We took the Adventure of the Seas for a Caribbean cruise in July 2017. The port in San Juan was a bit of a mess, but once we found someone who knew what to do with our luggage, and we got through security, check-in itself was fairly smooth and quick, as we had a Junior Suite, which entitled us to fast check-in. The ship was fairly recently refurbished. When we reached our cabin, however, the ...

I chose this cruise for the destinations and had not sailed on Royal until this cruise. I was happy with the service ...very attentive. The laundry special that came mid sail could have been quicker. Had we not said something it we would not have gotten our laundry before the last full day of the cruise making it which would have meant 2 full days since we gave it to them to wash. Really had a ...

My husband wanted to try a cruise on Royal Caribbean and we were celebrating our daughter's and boyfriend's University of Delaware Graduation! The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Our suites had balconies which we utilized when entering a port or departing a port. The Royal Caribbean, Adventure of the Seas offered a nice variety of ports: St. Marteen, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Barbados ...

Many friends who are frequent cruisers recommended Royal Caribbean for our active family. My husband and I traveled with our four boys, ages 21 to 15 to Puerto Rico to board the ship. We spent the first 2 nights in San Juan enjoying the beach, restaurants, and Old San Juan beforehand. Discovered the delicious Puerto Rican food, Mofango, which goes great with Mojitos! La Concha by Renaissance is ...

We have had great experiences with Royal before but this time it felt like the ship needed updating and the food was really bad. I have a 4 year old who is on the tiny side but is a great swimmer and he was too small for the water slide for his age group. I didn't make sense that he couldn't go on it especially with all of the lifeguards and both myself and my husband were watching him. We were ...

Disgusting rooms, bad smells and antiquated shows

We chose this cruise based on the port of calls. I have cruised with Celebrity, Carnival and NCL so RC was supposed to be an improvement. Don't believe it! The two "world class" Broadway style shows were more like a high school show or something that stepped out of the 70's. If you saw one show, the other was the same other than choice of songs. it was a little creepy they had an old man playing a ...

Outgrown RCCL?

We have traveled RCCL 3 times now and all have been very good. The staff, itineraries, food, and general cleanliness have been excellent. To service 3000+ people non-stop 7 days a week must be impossible. Yes, there are glitches along the way. Service people dead tired or having a bad day, rude cruisers, sanitation issues, a bad batch of food, broken equipment, the age of ship etc.. What I ...
