Well kept ship, very clean. Great entertainment options. The ice show should not be missed. Would have like to have seen a Broadway type musical but the singers and dancers put on 2 wonderful shows. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Late night food choices were limited; Pizza or cold sandwiches @ promenade cafe. The boarding process was simple and quick. Our room was ready and luggage was ...

Cruise from hell

My first cruise. Didn’t look at other options. My own fault. Went with family members. Based on their experiences it sounded good to them but they were also disappointed. Nothing really handicap friendly. Especially the ports! And if I had known kids were going to be everywhere I would have changed plans. Have to watch for kids cruise free next time! But I doubt there will be a next time! Way too ...

Disappointing experience

We are frequent cruisers on RCI. The nightly entertainment was sub-par with the exception of Men of Culture and the piano man in the Schooner bar. All other band entertainment failed to engage the crowd and didn't even look to be enjoying what they were playing. My Time dining seating was terrible. We were twice placed next to the service station, so I felt like I was sitting in the kitchen. ...

After going on one of RC's biggest ships, it is tough to go back to a smaller ship. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Room was adequate. Steward was nice. Had a not-so-nice experience at last night's MDR dinner (waiter failed to inform me that the fish of the day had been changed and placed the new fish in front of me without offering me a chance to re-order my dinner - I was ...

Waiter Birendra, assistant waiter Jay, and head waiter Noel were outstanding in their very accommodating service to our vegetarian eating style! The main dining room was our choice for dinner every night because of the excellent service provided. Nicholas was very kind in house keeping and went out of his way to make sure everything was just how we asked! Anytime I had asked for a picture to be ...

We choose this cruise because it sails out of Bayonne which is an easy 8 hour drive from us. The itinerary isn't really exciting but it was a nice getaway. Embarkation was a breeze - very quick and well organized. The only minor hiccup is that security asked my elderly father to remove his suspenders instead of using the wand to check him. How they expected a 70 year old man to hold up his ...

We did not want to fly to a port so we sailed from NJ port Cruise to Bahamas with RC the first stop was Port Canaveral gaving me a chance to visit NASA and see the historical space flight exhibits and rockets. For that we did the ships shore excursion. Others who went to beach did not enjoy their day. Next was CoCoCay, a relaxing day on the beach with a great feast and Caribbean music. Taking a ...

I’ve been on a few different Carnival cruises and chose RC as a post-law school graduation cruise because I’d heard they were a step above. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Let’s start with the online check in. Overall it was okay, but then RC assigned our group a “Check-In” time of 1:30. Being the rule followers that we are, my friend and I didn’t arrive until one thirty and ...

Horrible food, filthy public bathrooms, ran out of vodka to take home

I have sailed on RC before..... it was great. This time, food was HORRIBLE, filthy public bathrooms, short staffed, ran out of vodka to take home, inconsistent air conditioning, areas of the ship smelled like a cesspool, no ventilation in elevators, no coffee etc by pools, had to walk soooooo far for a coffee or iced tea etc., waited 10-15 minutes to get a drink at the bar at dinnertime. When I ...
