Just got home from our Cruise to the Bahama's on the Carnival Pride sailing out of Baltimore. We upgraded only a week prior to our trip to a Vista Suite on Deck 5. We had VIP check-in and got on the ship in about a half hour. Our luggage got to our room just before dinner. The suite was awesome and our steward Erda was readily available. He was very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned and ...

This was our 2nd cruise with Carnival and the first on the Pride. We choose Baltimore as our departure point for convenience and price. The cruise ship itself was quite nice. The decorations were quite tasteful and we had no problems with them at all. The staff, on the other hand, were not as good as we had hoped. This was very evident whenever we were in the Main Dining Room. We had lots of ...

My wife and I returned today just in time to avoid the forecasted winter storm...a harsh reality check. This was our fifth cruise, fourth on Carnival, and was our second time on the Pride out of Baltimore; we previously sailed a Caribbean itinerary back in 2009 when Carnival first started sailing from B-more. THE SHIP We enjoyed the facilities, venues, etc. on the Pride on both of our trips. ...

Wife and I set sail on the Pride from 2/9 thru the 16th. This was my 1st cruise, and my wife's 2nd, but 1st in over 20 years . Before cruising this was something she really wanted to do and I was "willing" to go along without much enthusiasm. I had the mindset that i woudl be trapped, cramped, uncomfortable, etc, etc,,, We boarded with relative ease. There were lines, but that was to be expected. ...

My husband and I have been on Princess, RCCL, Holland American, Celebrity and of course Carnival. This was our fourth time on cruising on the Carnival Pride out of Baltimore. The itinerary isn't the greatest but it is only a four hour drive from the Pittsburgh area to Baltimore which saves alot of money from not flying. It makes for a nice get away. We are also Carnival Platinum members. This ...

This was my second cruise on the Pride and third cruise with Carnival. I have been on approximately 15 cruises total. I chose this cruise because it was inexpensive and left from Baltimore. The ship was clean, but it is definitey starting to show wear and needs a major facelift. Leaving out of the port of Baltimore is easy. We were on the ship having lunch at 2:15pm. Lunch is served on deck 9 at ...

By way of background, this was our 4th cruise, 3rd time on Carnival, and our first cruise in about 5 years. The other cruise we did was on Royal Caribbean, which we did not enjoy as much as we've enjoyed cruising on Carnival. On all the previous cruises, it's been me, my wife, my daughter, and my parents, but my parents died a few years ago, and my wife doesn't really care for cruising, so this ...

The demographics first:  Family of 4 with 2 boys, 10 and 11  Multiple time cruisers on Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and now Carnival  We stayed in an Ocean Suite, #6156 Late dining (8:15) The Ship: The Carnival Pride is a boat that is showing it's age more than a bit. This may have been in more stark relief for us than for most as our last cruise was on the Allure of the Seas (Royal ...

This my 7th cruise and my first with Carnival Cruise Lines. Over the years I wanted to try Carnival however my travel agent strongly objected and stated that I would hate it. Well, I no longer use that travel agent and had a wonderful time. I have sailed on HAL, RC and Celebrity. I am still a Celebrity fan by far and have done the bulk of my cruises with them. Carnival is a different cruise line. ...

This sailing was the 9th Carnival cruise for hubby and I. We had balcony room aft on 6th deck. We chose the Pride because of sailing from Baltimore , New Year’s Celebration, and the class of ship. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. There was only 1 day of sun. We had plenty of rain, cool/cold temperature, and very rough seas. We also skipped Freeport due to 50 + winds. There were over ...
