When you decide to book a holiday with another 3500 people on the floating hotel in the middle of the ocean, how high can your expectations be regarding food, accommodation and entertainment be?? I would like to ask these people that leave negative comments what sort of meals do they have at home if they found buffet inadequate?? The list of foods available would be waaay to long to write, if ...

This was our first cruise and we could not have enjoyed it more. We were well looked after from the first minute and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. There was lots of entertainment and every one of the nightly shows was very enjoyable. All of the islands that we visited were excellent and we did two shore excursions booked through Royal Caribbean (Amedee Island and Turtle Bay / ...

I chose this cruise because a group of friends were already booked on it. On reflection I should have chosen a cruise which did not fall within school holidays as there were a lot of unsupervised 'tweens' having a great time. Can't fault our Junior suite and glad we chose a larger cabin so we could retire away from the crowds especialy when sailing over a few nights. The staff are all very ...

I embarked from Sydney ( I live here ) and was impressed with the efficiency and speed of the boarding process. Although a fairly old ship with limited entertainment and activities, I would say that I enjoyed the 11 nights I spent on the ship, but after a while, because of the excess number of sea days, we ran out of things to do. We ended up doing the same things over and over. The nightly shows ...

Great Trip to the South Pacific

Only our second cruise, and our first time on RCI. Embarkation was quick, well organised, and utterly painless. No surprises with the cabin. It wasn't huge, but it was plenty big enough for our needs. We hadn't eaten since 7am at the airport, so we dumped our bags in the cabin and went straight to the buffet. After a light (late) lunch in the buffet we had Muster Drill and the Sail-away. We had ...

I must admit, I did not have high expectations for this cruise. I had read some negative reviews and friends who had been on the Christmas 2015 cruise on explorer was very disappointed, we had previously cruised the Voyager in November 2015 and had a wonderful time, but more recently cruised ovation with some disappointment. So as I said, I did not have high expectations but was willing to take ...

this was our first cruise on RCI but our 7th cruise in total. I sailed with my daughter and granddaughter, we chose this cruise as we had picked up a great deal on line. We had a fantastic time, I can recommend RCI highly enough. The staff were brilliant, the ship beautiful, the food scrumptious and such big servings. The entertainment on board was terrific and varied. It was great to see so ...

The Cruise to Nowhere

We choose this cruise as a short break. Boarding at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney was surprisingly quick, considering the numbers in the line. On boarding we headed straight to our cabin #9244. Great location right near the elevators and considering that, we expected it to be quite noisy. In fact it was the opposite. Just a tip for older aged travellers: Give this cabin or ...

We chose this cruise for the value for money it had. From day one it was fantastic, the embarkation was smooth and quiet quick, the ship is beautiful, floating city! The crew we found were always helpful, friendly and courteous. The entertainment on board was great not something we would normally do but really enjoyed it.
