First time on NCL and it wont be my last! The Sun may be an older ship without some of the newer bells and whistles (water slides and go karts) but the uncrowded feeling was amazing. Embarkation and Disembarkation was easy and well run. 20 to 30% vacancy level meant no crowds all week in any lines or venues.

The Ship was beautiful, clean, and it had great service, the staff is very friendly and the music goes every night until midnight. We were on the Sun in March, before it went into dry dock, and I would have rated it a C+. After dry dock, the ship gets an A-. Every part of the ship was updated and upgraded. This was our first time sailing with Norwegian. I did have some concerns leading up to the sailing after having read some of the reviews, but I had nothing to worry about.
Embarkation and Disembarkation were easy. Consider doing the self-assist disembarakation if you can manage it. Self-assist is the first group off the ship. We were off the ship and cleared immigration in minutes.
